Acknowledgement
The brother and sisters of the late Earl Moffitt and their families would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to express our appreciation and thanks to all the staff at all the hospitals which Earl attended in France and to his friends and neighbours who visited him in those hospitals there. Sincere thanks also to the staff in Craigavon Area Hospital for their excellent care of Earl while he was there.
Thanks to 247 Aviation in Belfast for their professional and seamless organisation and transportation of the medical repatriation of Earl from hospital in France to Craigavon Area Hospital.
Thank you to all who sent messages via text or social media or sympathy cards or attended the wake at Armstrong’s Funeral Home and thanks to Doreen Chambers and her relatives for providing the refreshments there which was much appreciated.
We would also like to thank Dr Stephen McBride for conducting the private funeral service at Cavan Crematorium just exactly as per Earl’s wishes.
Thanks also to Armstrong Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional handling of the funeral arrangements.
Sincere thanks also to everyone who made donations in lieu of flowers to Chest, Heart & Stroke.
A special word of thanks goes to the venerable Dr Stephen McBride and Mrs Elizabeth Seale for organising the Service of Thanksgiving in the Cathedral Church of Saint Patrick in Armagh for the life of Earl. Thanks to both of them for the sincere tributes they gave to Earl in their sermon and eulogy respectively. Thanks also to the Lowry Singers for their wonderful singing and for providing the beautiful refreshments afterwards. Lastly, thanks to all those relatives, friends, neighbours and acquaintances of Earl who attended the service.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
