Acknowledgement
The husband and family of the late Lila Elizabeth Butler, a loving wife, mother, nana and great-nana wish to express our sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to extend special thanks to the medical staff including the doctor on call, the ambulance crews and every member of the SWAH team who helped Lila in any way, especially those in Resus and Ward 1. Your care, professionalism and compassion were truly exceptional.
A heartfelt thank you to Rev Graham Hare, Rev Alexander Chisnall and Canon Derek Quinn for your prayerful support and compassion towards Lila and towards us as a family, throughout this difficult time.
We are deeply grateful to Armstrong Funeral Directors for their dignified professionalism in organising the wake and funeral. Sincere thanks to Barbara and team for providing refreshments during the wake.
We also appreciate all those who called, sent cards and flowers, telephoned or sent messages of sympathy and to everyone who attended the wake and funeral. A special thanks to those who travelled from afar to be with us. Thank you for all donations made in lieu of flowers to St. Columba’s Parish Church, Omagh and to Jude Floral for the beautiful floral tribute to Lila.
Our thanks once again to Rev Graham Hare, Rev Alexander Chisnall and Canon Derek Quinn for the heartfelt funeral service. Your presence was a true testament to how much Lila was loved; it brought us great comfort.
We would also like to extend out thanks to the sextons, Laura and David Mitchell, organist Roberta Irwin, Lislimnaghan grave diggers and Daphne Bryden and her team for providing welcome refreshments at Lislimnaghan Church Hall.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family’s deepest gratitude.
