Community pharmacy is the most accessible part of the health service. The public are relying more & more on their community pharmacy for health advice and medicines.

Did you know about the Pharmacy First same day urinary tract infection test and treat service? available now for uncomplicated UTI.

We are able to test for urinary tract infections in women aged 16 to 64 and if appropriate, supply a course of antibiotics to treat the infection.

You won’t need to get a prescription from your GP, meaning you can start to treat your infection straight after the consultation.

No appointment is required, but please phone first to discuss your symptoms with one of our pharmacists before attending the pharmacy in person as eligibility criteria apply.

Three signs that you may be suffering from a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) are:
⁃ pain or a burning sensation when urinating
⁃ needing to urinate suddenly or more urgently than before
⁃ cloudy urine.
