𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

My name is Kara, and I’m the proud owner of Rise Omagh, Enniskillen & Newry.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬

With over 10 years of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, I decided to take my passion further by studying for a Social Work degree. However, balancing mum life, part-time work, and full-time study became overwhelming.

Just five months into my studies, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My world changed in an instant, and I faced one of the toughest journeys of my life. But through that journey, I gained a new perspective on what truly matters:

• 𝐌𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 - without it, I have nothing.
• 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 - their support was invaluable.
• 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 - movement became my therapy.
• 𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 - life is too short not to.

Being active played a huge role in my recovery, both physically and mentally. That’s when it hit me - why not combine my passion for helping people with my love for excerise? With my business studies background, I turned this idea into reality.

Fast forward, and I’ve nearly completed my first year of business 👏🏼 It’s been an incredible journey of growth, resilience, and community.
