This my friends is the amazing charity that we have decided to raise money for 🥹 after talking with the ladies about what they do my heart melted and honestly resonated so hard. They told we anyone with children under 5 years old, anyone with autism or special needs or just a mummy simply needing rest, the volunteers come and let the mum go for a sleep or a shower, they tidy up a bit and look after the little ones....
HOW INCREDIBLE 🥹 all completely voluntary and this service needs shouted from the rooftops!!!

Home-Start Omagh District is a small, local charity that has been supporting families in the Omagh area since 1994. We believe parents shouldn’t face the early years alone. Through practical help, emotional support and a listening ear, we are part of the village that supports parents of children under five, offering reassurance and care day by day.

A Letter from My Heart 🤍

I’m so proud.
Proud of what I’ve created.
Proud of the treatments, the ideas, the space, the energy.
And I’m so proud of every single one of you who chooses to show up for yourselves — to heal, to rest, to receive, to prioritise self-care 🥹
I’m proud that I push myself physically and mentally every single day, even when it’s hard, even when I’m tired, and I hope — in some small way — that it shows others that anything really is possible.
But…
With all of that comes burnout, exhaustion, and the odd mistake 🙈
Missed messages. Late replies. A brain that sometimes just needs to stop.
So if I’ve taken a bit longer to reply, or something slips, please know it’s never from lack of care. I see it, I own it, and I’ll always get there — even if it’s not instantly 🤍
Sometimes I don’t know my worth. Sometimes I give too much away.
I’m learning. I’m listening.
But helping, nurturing, inspiring — that’s deeply who I am. I don’t know how to be any other way.
I also have the most beautiful family at home, who love and support me with their whole hearts. And after long days of holding space for others, all I want is to go home to them and just be.
So if I don’t always show up to workshops, gatherings, or get-togethers, it’s not because I don’t want to — truly. It’s because I don’t want to miss baths, bedtimes, homework, or those quiet moments that pass too quickly. There’s only so many hours in a day… so please bear with me, peeps 🥰
Every single day I know I’m helping people beyond words. It’s a choice — but one I’d choose again and again. I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. This is my purpose.
And while it comes with sacrifices, I am so, so proud that I get to be here for all of you 🩷🩷
