Yesterday Parkgate Surgery was closed for a staff training afternoon.

Both our clinical and admin teams completed their Basic Life Support updates, including CPR, choking and anaphylaxis — followed by our annual Fire Safety Training with .

A huge well done to everyone for taking part in this vital training to help keep our patients and colleagues safe.

And watch out… the admin team have been learning how to safely tackle a fire with a fire extinguisher! 🔥

Thank you for your understanding while we carried out this essential training.

📢 Flu & COVID Vaccinations at Parkgate Surgery - Appointments Required

We are holding pre planned flu vaccination clinics on the following dates:
✅ Friday 3rd October
✅ Saturday 4th October
✅ Tuesday 7th October
✅ Friday 10th October
✅ Saturday 11th October

🏠 Housebound patients: Home visits are scheduled for Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th October.

👉 These clinics are for patients aged 18+ who are eligible for the annual flu vaccination.

💉 If you are also eligible for the COVID vaccine, this will be offered at the same time as your flu vaccine – no need to book separately.

⚠️ Please note: COVID vaccine eligibility is very strict, and our staff must follow national criteria. For more details, visit:
