🌼 Minibus Trip to Ruxley Garden Centre! ☕🌿

Our residents at Pemberley Manor had a wonderful outing this week with a minibus trip to Ruxley Garden Centre.

Everyone enjoyed a relaxing stroll around the beautiful seasonal displays, taking in the colours and inspiration from the plants, flowers, and garden decorations. 🌸🌷 It was lovely to see so many smiles as residents browsed the displays and chatted about their favourite flowers and gardening memories.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a stop for coffee and a treat! ☕🍰 Residents enjoyed sitting together in the café, sharing stories and laughter while warming up with a nice drink.

Trips like these are always a highlight, giving everyone the chance to get out, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time together in a lovely setting.

🌼 Spring is on its way at Pemberley Manor Care Home! 🌼

Our wonderful residents have been busy getting creative, making beautiful daffodils out of paper to brighten up our home. With cheerful yellow petals and plenty of smiles along the way, it’s safe to say we’re ready to welcome the new season!

Craft sessions like these are a lovely way to celebrate the changing seasons, spark happy memories, and enjoy time together. The Bistro is now blooming with handmade flowers, a perfect reminder that brighter days are just around the corner. 💛

Well done to everyone who took part, your daffodils look fantastic! 🌷✨

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a very special lady Joan! 💐

Our talented kitchen team baked a delicious homemade cake especially for her, made with love and a sprinkle of birthday magic. 🍰✨ There’s nothing better than seeing Joan’s smile as we gathered together to sing, share stories, and enjoy a sweet treat.

We were delighted to host a fantastic Free Legal Advice Event here at Pemberley Manor!

A big thank you to Andy from Secure Wills for joining us and sharing his expert knowledge on Wills, Trusts & Lasting Powers of Attorney. Andy provided clear, practical advice and took the time to answer everyone’s questions, making what can often feel like a complicated subject much easier to understand.

🍻 An Afternoon Well Spent at the Pub! 🍻

There’s nothing quite like a good old trip to the local pub, and recently some of our gents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon out at the Queens Head Pub.

Over a well earned pint (or two!) the conversation was flowing just as nicely as the refreshments. From tales of first jobs and favourite football matches to stories of family holidays and “the good old days,” the laughter around the table said it all.

A big thank you to our team for making these moments possible. We’re already looking forward to the next outing! 🍺✨

❤️ Valentine’s Day at Pemberley Manor ❤️

What a truly wonderful day we had celebrating love, friendship and community!

Our morning was filled with creativity as residents enjoyed Valentine’s crafts, decorating beautiful acrylic hearts for our Wishing Tree. 💕✨

In the afternoon, residents and their families came together for a delicious Valentine’s Afternoon Tea. There were plenty of sweet treats, lots of laughter, and fantastic entertainment with karaoke that had everyone singing along to their favourite classics! 🎤🎶

We also held our Valentine’s Raffle, a big well done to all of our lucky winners! We are absolutely delighted to share that we raised £148, which will go directly into our Residents Fund to support future activities and events. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make the day so special. 🎁👏

Love truly was in the air at Pemberley Manor! 💖

🍕🎉 National Pizza Day at Pemberley Manor! 🎉🍕

We celebrated National Pizza Day in the tastiest way possible, by making our very own delicious pizzas! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our residents had great fun choosing from a fantastic selection of toppings including pepperoni, mushrooms, sweetcorn, peppers, onions and plenty of cheese. There were some wonderful combinations created, and lots of creativity on display!

The best part of all was sitting down together to enjoy the pizzas once they were freshly baked. The Bistro was filled with smiles, laughter and the wonderful smell of fresh pizza.🍕

🌿🦋 A Wonderful Day at Hall Place! 🦆🌸

Our residents at Pemberley Manor Care Home enjoyed a delightful outing to Hall Place, and what a fantastic day it was!

We began our visit exploring the magical butterfly house, where colourful butterflies fluttered all around us, a truly special experience that brought lots of smiles and conversation. 🦋✨

Afterwards, we took a gentle stroll through the beautiful grounds, soaking up the fresh air and admiring the stunning scenery. There was even time to feed the ducks, which proved to be a firm favourite of the day! 🦆💚

A big thank you to our wonderful team for making the day so enjoyable and to our residents for bringing such great company and laughter!

🌟 Virtual Dementia Tour Uk at Pemberley Manor Care Home 🌟

Our team recently took part in the powerful Virtual Dementia Tour, an immersive experience designed to help us better understand the daily challenges faced by people living with dementia.

The experience was eye opening and deeply moving, strengthening our empathy and enhancing the person centred care we provide every day.

We’re proud of our dedicated team for continuing to learn, grow, and put our residents first.💜

🍫 National Chocolate Fondue Day at Pemberley Manor 🍓

What a delicious day we had celebrating National Chocolate Fondue Day! 😋
Our residents started the morning with a fun chocolate themed quiz, putting their sweet knowledge to the test and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

In the afternoon, it was time for the best part… our chocolate fountain! 🍫✨ Residents enjoyed dipping strawberries, bananas, marshmallows and pretzels into the warm, flowing chocolate, a real treat for the taste buds.

A wonderful day full of smiles, memories and lots of chocolatey goodness 💕
