Foxbridge House in Orpington, Kent, is a purpose-built home offering nursing, respite and residential care, as well as specialist dementia care. The bright and spacious home has been designed to create a lively, family atmosphere. Residents can enjoy a wealth of luxury features, including a hair and nail salon, a retro-themed cinema and a coffee shop perfect for socialising. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, a TV and a 24-hour nurse call system. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Foxbridge House. The team places importance on protecting residents' meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Family members are very welcome to 'book-in' and join their loved one for a meal.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

Ahead of Remembrance Day we invited the veterans at Bromley Football Club for a three course "fish and chips" meal.

The veterans showed so much appreciation and had a great afternoon; a big thank you to the veterans including Graham Orr, the Chelsea Pensioners, and ex Mayor, Mike Botting for honouring our invitation and for the sacrifice and courage given so that we all could live in peace and freedom.☮🕊🌹

Come Dine With Us

Come Dine With Us is on Wednesday 12th November and the second Wednesday of every month, at 1.30pm - 3.00pm.

At our monthly lunch club we provide a free home-cooked roast dinner for older people in the community who might be feeling isolated or alone. Enjoy a delicious meal, meet our friendly team and socialise with others from the local community.

Foxbridge House Stars Awards

The residents and staff had an amazing afternoon.

Today we celebrated gaining our Gold Standards Framework Accreditation and Earning the Veteran Friendly Framework Accreditation, recognition was given to the staff that made this happen.🌹💐

Awards were given to Nurse, Carer, Team Leader and Lifestyle of the year, the most helpful and approachable person, Housekeeping and Foxbridge House Hero. All were recognized for going above and beyond their normal duties.✨

We had an entertainer who sang 60's classics, which the staff and residents sang and danced a long to, including nibbles and a glass of bubbly. 🥂

World Stroke Day

October 29th is soon approaching, if you are a stroke survivor come along with a friend, family member or carer and join us for tea and a slice of cake at 10.30am-12.30pm and socialise with others in a similar situation.

Fixers Uppers Campaign

The “Fixers Uppers” campaign is a brilliant opportunity to highlight Care UK’s sustainability commitment, showcasing the importance of re-using and mending over buying new.

Perry Hall primary school in Orpington came to Foxbridge House for a "Bird box making” session, Dave on the maintenance team, showed the school children how to make bird boxes and sand them before painting.🎨🖌

The children said they had a lovely time with the residents and Dave, they enjoyed the session but most of all the cookies and squash. 🍪😅

World Stroke Day

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the life-changing impact of a stroke. For survivors and their families, recovery is possible.

If you are a stroke survivor come and join us for tea and a slice of cake on 29th October, 10.30am-12.30pm and socialise with others in a similar situation.

National Grandparents Day

National Grandparents Day is a day to recognise the importance of Grandparents in families and society.

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon tea party to celebrate the day.

National Clean Up Day

National Clean Up Day is a yearly event to encourage people to clean up their communities, parks and natural areas in an effort to remove litter and improve the environment.

Three of our residents went along Sevenoaks Road with litter sticks collecting can's, tins, paper, and much more. Although it was a little breezy they kept going with enthusiasm and a smile.

Thank you for taking pride in your environment and making it tidy.
