The spine plays an important role in energy generation and transference and has to provide a stable base while the arms and legs perform rapid movements.
Make sure you're including a range of conditioning exercises in your training plan to work on strength, flexibility and control πŸ’ͺ🏻

Did you know that 50% of power generated in serving comes from your legs and core?
This is why having an efficient and effective kinetic chain is so important.
Think "bottom up", as force generation comes from each body segment before finally being released as a ferocious serve 🎾
Foot position, knee bend, hip rotation and positional relationship between shoulders and hips all have an impact on the forces directed on your shoulder πŸ’ͺ🏻

Always find a way to get in some landmines! This bit of timber worked great.
For overhead athletes, gym goers and post op shoulder rehab, landmines nearly always find their way into my rehab programmes. Such a great shoulder exercise.

10Km completed. Thanks to my cheerleaders Sheredan Ford and Sophy Smith and a MASSIVE thanks to all those who sponsored me. Your money has gone to an incredibly worthy cause and I was way over what i'd hoped to raise :)

Great event at . Completed my first 10km run in a long time. Snuck in under the 50 minute mark (49.11), much better than anticipated. Now for a restful afternoon
