Today, we’re taking a moment to recognise someone who has become a key part of how our team and workplace runs every single day.

𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗵𝗻𝗮 joined us just over a year ago as our HR Administrator & Recruiter, and since then she has been one of the team that is at the heart of our daily operations. Meghan works with Leila (Registered Manager) in managing the full recruitment and onboarding process, supporting staff throughout their time with us, handling documentation, DBS checks, internal HR queries and so much more — she is often the first point of contact and a constant source of support for our team.

Her organisation and genuine care for both our employees and our clients have made a real difference across the company.

We wanted to give Meghna a special mention to show our appreciation for all she does and to say Thank you for all that you bring to the team each day.

We are shining a well-deserved spotlight on someone many of you know, even if you haven’t met her in person. Since HLGCC opened in 2022, Catherine Ellis, our Office Manager, has been the backbone that keeps everything running smoothly.

From making sure rotas are in place and everyone gets paid on time, to keeping supplies and equipment ready when needed, Catherine works tirelessly behind the scenes.

We don’t just work for our clients, we work with them. From recruiting the right support staff to shaping day-to-day plans, our clients are involved every step of the way — as much or as little as they choose.

Hope everyone’s enjoying some spooky fun with family or planning a Halloween or Bonfire Night celebration! At home, everything’s very Halloween-themed with my two little ones. 🎃

On a more serious note, the darker evenings and poorer weather mean more of us are driving in challenging conditions. Please take extra care on the roads, and consider keeping a blanket, torch, drink, and snack in your car in case of a breakdown.

And don’t forget your on-call number, we’ll always do our best to help if you need us.
