โŒ Saying New Year, New Me
โœ… Rooting for a healthier, happier, more confident you in however long that takes

โŒ Setting unrealistic, short term goals
โœ… Making small changes over time

โŒ Going all or nothing, quitting in 1 week
โœ… Starting where weโ€™re at, appreciating nutrition over restriction for our health, not a number

โŒ Thinking 80/90โ€™s cardio workouts still work in our 40+ eras
โœ… Believing weights are actual wonders & literal life savers

โŒ Setting goals like Get Fit, Lose Weight, Tone Up without;
โœ… A Plan. Get Fit byโ€ฆLose Weight byโ€ฆTone Up byโ€ฆ
โœ… Getting a Coach ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

โŒ Setting up a gym membership & not attending past 9th Jan/Feb. Again.

I did all of these โŒ and more before I realised that Skinny is not the goal ๐Ÿคฏ Nutritional nourishment NOT restrictive punishment is key to good health โœ… and staying low key strong is fundamental to our longevity & independence โ™ฅ๏ธ

So TikTok made me a very brief 2025 catch up vid - donโ€™t blink ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿคฃ but even in this 20s Iโ€™m smiling at the progress I know so many of you have made this year ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผโ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿง 

Strength & fitness for sure ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ but in so many of those, just as important, non-measurable ways too

Over Christmas many of us are going to be eating more than our usual amounts - it is the actual law after all๐Ÿ‘Œ And, much of this will be high in fibre - veg, spuds, nuts, crackers, fruit, bread etc ๐Ÿ˜‹

Whilst undeniably delicious and mainly nutritious, some of these are complex little minxโ€™s, can sit heavy and do produce gas ๐Ÿ„

It can be really uncomfortable and itโ€™s not really polite to share indoors, especially if youโ€™ve got the in-laws round ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜†

Introducing the ๐Ÿ’จ Fart Walk ๐Ÿ’จ! Doesnโ€™t need to be far, fast or for longer than 20-30 mins

You can go alone, invite others (within a set distance) and itโ€™s completely free ๐Ÿ˜…

Strength training as we get older is not all about the aesthetics ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ itโ€™s vital for staying functional, well into being old old

Want to not feel frail?
Want to not feel vulnerable?
Want to not feel unsteady?
Want to not feel fatigued?
Want to not feel independent?
Want to not lack confidence?

I could go on (and on ๐Ÿ˜†) but you get my drift

Staying Strong isnโ€™t about training to be a Bodybuilder ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ (although you can if you want!)

Staying Strong is about staying vital, present and more like you โ™ฅ๏ธ

Two fully booked classes this morning ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ with next Saturdayโ€™s already 49% and 99% full too ๐Ÿ˜ (donโ€™t miss out!)

What I loved the absolute most about this morning was just how supportive you all are to each other - whether youโ€™ve known each other years, months or only meet each other in class - itโ€™s just so special to see, with newcomers always made so welcome ๐Ÿฅฐ

Hard work at all levels all over the room still ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ which just proves, getting stronger, fitter and even more fabulous than ever ๐Ÿ’— doesnโ€™t need to feel like an actual punishment ๐Ÿ˜ฉ it can actually be something you enjoy and look forward to doingโ€ฆimagine! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I have a new qualification and Iโ€™m beyond proud to be able to call myself a certified Emotional & Binge Eating Disorder Specialist!

I started the training in Spring, worked with the most wonderful client ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ for 12 sessions through the late Spring/Summer and yeah, have now graduated! ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŽ‰

I also took an additional module to be able to support clients currently considering starting, or stopping, weight loss medications ๐Ÿ’‰

I have a new programme coming next year that will combine all of my credentials and work around;

Mental Health & Exercise
Menopause Support
Emotional & Binge Eating Disorder
Ethical Weight Management on GLP-1s

This will be available as a Small Group Therapeutic Coaching Programme as well as there being a limited amount of 1:1 places ๐Ÿ’—

Thereโ€™s no other Coach or Programme that offers this combination of support (trust me, Iโ€™ve done my research ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿ’ป) I just know all of these things are so closely interconnected but need to be treated with the utmost compassion and care - which is exactly what Iโ€™ll be providing ๐Ÿฅฐ
