When I started my small business I wanted to have community at it's heart. Certain charities form part of that community essence and I love it.
mercia.sar is this year's charity. So far we have raised about £230 through cards (I have 3 packs left!) and donations of £5 or a figure of your choice.

It cost's £400 a night for their nightly river patrol in Shrewsbury. That's my goal for this year and we are over halfway there.

If we don't make it I can honestly say I am chuffed to bits with my tiny business raising these funds to help people we don't know and that means everything. 💝

Everyone who has made a donation will have their name added to a hat (unless you say no thank you) and I will pull 5 names on 21st December. Each person can choose a treatment of their choice. Either in person or distant reiki or reflexology. Either treatment is normally charged at £60.

That's my contribution of time for giving and sharing rather than earning during those sessions.

Support small businesses in Oswestry and come along to our open studios event at The Factory, behind Sainsburys. We have a talented group of artist makers in pottery, metal, print (both ink and photography plus multimedia sculptures.

Come aling and have a nosey and whilst you are here naybe consider supported West Mercia Search & Rescue with donations or buying a pack of their cards.

The christmas cards are available in several studios this weekend during our open studios event at The Factory.

This is happening tomorrow night. An inperson event that explores peace and it's presence in our lives. Will you join us?

Wrap up warm, bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow and allow yourself to receive reiki, a guided meditation and sound healing. At the moment it feels like voice and singing bowls, but tomorrow is another day and it may change.

Hi everyone,

It's not long until 25th Dec 🎄🤶🎄

In previous years we have collectively raised money for Dogs for Rescue and sent gifts through the shoebox appeal.

This year I am working with West Mercia Search & Rescue. Their work is often difficult helping with flood rescues and searching for missing people. I believe they are a worthwhile cause and I would love it if we contribute together to raise funds for them.

These guys work around our area too and a while back they were able to find my brother's friend who had made a decision to end his life. So you can see the value in their work and the difficulties they face.

I am offering 5 treatments to raise money for them and selling their xmas card packs at my studio. The idea is for a £5 donation (or more if you wish) I put your name in a hat and 5 people will receive a treatment of their choice if their name is pulled.

You may or may not know I also make jewellery. My studio is a multi talented space, both creative and healing.

Next weekend my studio along with other amazing artists are opening our spaces for you to come and have a nosy. Maybe find something that is just for you or a loved one.

This is the perfect way to come and meet me if you are local to Oswestry. You will also be supporting small Oswestry businesses.

Ask questions, see what we do and maybe sign up for a workshop or buy gift vouchers for as a present.

I am co-ordinating a fundraiser for West Mercia Search and Rescue. Their work literally saves lives and they are all volunteers.

We will be selling their christmas card packs during the weekend for £5 per pack. You can also donate if you wish towards their costs.

Incredibly this is next week!! November is already halfway through and our next gathering is nearly here. 💚

I'm curious to feel what is to be shared with those who cone along. If you feel that a place is for you, please get in touch.

Peace in a time of so much angst, anxiety, busyiness, seriously bad/sad news is not nessarily at the fore front of our minds. When we gather, peace is at the very heart of this gathering.

My guides share through me how we can find peace in current times, not matter what is happening in your outer life.

Dare you find your way through the noise, dare you give yourself permission to stop for a while and be?

Please bring a blanket, pillow and yoga mat. Dress warmly so you feel snug.

Tonight I sat in stillness, just me and a very special smoky quartz crystal. No noise, no company, no distractions.

Working in stillness, feeling energy move through my body in tingles. No judgement, no expected outcome.

Then, came a desire to sort a pile of paperwork that had been quietly wrestling with me for months. Sat in a corner of my room. So this is the burning of everything I feel ready to release.

Including a diary from 2004, 21 years ago! Not much written in it apart from key events. Starting a new job, my brother's 30th birthday, my uncle's wedding. And the date I started my training in esoterics (working with energy, chakras, the clairs)

It is always fascinating to watch how different bits alight and burn. Colours maybe different, flames reach higher for some but not others.

If you haven't witnessed the light being released from "paper" maybe have a go. See how a piece of paper that holds memories and the energy of a time long gone burns.

Now they are ashes I feel a lightness in myself and a space has opened for newness to drop on.

And I love that I know this. So next time you burn the old papers, consider doing it with intention. It is rarely just another thing to tick off your list.

I encourage you to stop and witness the natural world around you today. Even if it is for 5 minutes. Give yourself permission to stop doing and be fully present with her for 5 minutes.

On tuesday I walked in the wilderness so full of love and gratitude for everything life is showing me at the moment.

In my head I said "I love you" to the mountains, the elements and the stones that held me as I walked the path.

At this point I had my back to the stone shown in my photo. Then I turned to go forward and right there I knew I had been heard. And they answered 💚

There is an intelligence, a connection we hold, in each and every one of us, so deeply that most do not recognise the land when she "speaks" to us

That connection we have to an earth that provides everything we need, is willing to show us every single day that she is there for us. But where are we?

Choosing to see, love, acknowledge and respect our ancient Gaia means we will look after her. We will stop using any form of chemical to control her. We will work with her instead and be guided by her.

Our ancestors knew her intimately. They knew she reflected their own health. When she was sick, so where they. They knew how to read the land, the weather, the trees and the flowers.

And in that knowing they knew themselves, trusted their inner knowing, felt safe in their bodies.

How many can say that today? There is such a innate need for us to connect with our home world, deeply felt but somehow being busy stops us from noticing.

Will you give yourself permission to stop doing today?

What a wonderful day 💚 I loved being out surrounded by the Welsh mountains, Y Garn and Llyn Idwal. Wild, lashing down with rain, gusts of wind upto 43mph and I loved every minute of it.

It felt invigorating, freeing and incredible to be in the wildness of it all. This is living. This is a privilege. To walk with the elements, receive their wisdom and see the beauty of it all.

I know the land has spirit, the rocks, the water and the wind hold stories of yesteryear and today, I feel them. And I know I am part of it all. I am part of nature, not separate to it, not more than or better, to be part of this beautiful world is why I am here.

And knowing that I am part of it means I wish to care for it. That means picking up the plastic bottle and carrying it with me. No it wasn't mine, but I care more for the beauty around me than I do for wondering who didn't.

Just me and a dragon in North Wales.

It was wonderfully wild and windy but so good to be in the elements, feeling water and air on my face, watching them dance across the mlintains.

I was there cheering my brother on as he made his way on a mile long zipwire in seconds.

Family time is important to me and I hope you had a chance to spend time with yours today.
