When BIG feelings take over!

Our new FREE resource can help children to notice when they become overwhelmed by big feelings and to reconnect with the feelings that are behind or beneath it. Support children to recognise and name their feelings, notice that they can change over time and with attention. Taking time to notice this creates an important distinction between what they feel and who they are.

Many adoptive dad's experience isolation especially when they are caring for children with complex and challenging behaviour.
We meet once a month and it's a safe online space with no other agenda than sharing, listening and solidarity. No pressure to speak, come and just be.

One of the ways we offer support is through our closed Peer Support group💜

It’s a private space, managed by the PEGS team, where parents can talk openly, ask questions, and feel less alone. It’s also where we share all our free resources, workshops, and session links - including our EPIC programmes and Bounce Back, Step Forward!

The group is carefully moderated by us at PEGS to help keep it a safe, respectful space for everyone💜
