Wowzers!!! What an incredible transformation 🥰

Make some noise for Claire! She lost a jaw-dropping 18st 7.5lbs (117.7kg) and is our Woman of the Year 2025 👑🌟!

At her heaviest, Claire felt at rock bottom. Her weight affected every part of her life, and though she longed to start a family she couldn’t conceive 💔. Hoping to lose enough weight to have IVF, Claire joined Slimming World – and just nine months later, she’d lost 8st 7.5lbs (54.2kg)… and conceived naturally!

Fast forward to now, and Claire has two gorgeous children and a healthy and happy future with them ahead 🤗.

Face to Face Friday.
The first picture is when I was 3 months into my Slimming World journey and the second picture was taken on Saturday at the incredible Slimming World awards in Birmingham.
Just over 8 stone lighter and far happier and healthier. I love food and that’s why I love Slimming Worlds healthy eating plan because we eat all of our favourite foods but just change how they’re cooked.
My mantra has always been
‘Loosing weight is hard, being overweight is hard. Choose your hard’
(In my time at SW I also discovered hair straighteners 😂)

I'm putting this out there now.

I know it's early but this time of year breaks my heart because this is when I start to get messages from people saying they'll be back in the New Year, & you know what?

It never happens 😭

I usually don't see them for another six months or so and by that point they've usually regained everything they've lost and are gutted.

I know that Christmas and this time of year can end up being a little hectic and of course there are going to be days when we overindulge a little.

December in particular might not necessarily be about weightloss but more about staying in control and limiting the damage.

I've seen members come and go over the last year and absolutely nobody has said to me 'oh I really regretted staying at Slimming World' however, I have definitely seen people regret leaving.

This is a lifestyle change. It's not a diet. We don't have to 'have a break' because no one is saying we have to be so strict with ourselves all the time.

Over the festive period even four days on plan is better than seven days off.

Not as a Consultant but as a member and a caring friend who's been there, done that and who genuinely cares... 'Stick with us' I promise you it'll be worth it.

You will struggle on your own to see yourself through this season but in our group you'll be surrounded by people who are facing the same difficulties and working together to tackle them and protect their weightloss. So, taking a seat in Image Therapy is going to be key to getting you through 🥰

SCENARIO ONE: We give up group in October and before Christmas has even begun our favourite jeans are already way too snug 😞 A pound on here, two pounds on then and with no accountability Christmas eating and drinking can begin....... well....... now!
In our minds we thought we were wasting time (and money) keeping going to group but that £5.95 weekly fee was soon used up on needing to buy new clothes in a bigger size. That time that we felt we were wasting just needed a little tweaking to make it more effective AND that's where group comes in 😉

SCENARIO TWO: We recognise that the coming weeks might provide challenges but there will be clear days, days were some meals can be on plan.
We work around life to free up ONE precious hour out of 168 each week so that we are surrounded with people who will praise our triumphs and encourage us on those tougher times.
We LOSE ENOUGH NOW so that even if we gain a little over Christmas our favourite jeans will still fit in January 2026!!!

Today was one of those days when I couldn’t be bothered to think about what we were having for tea never mind cooking it. Ended up with a freezer raid and the results were delicious and so easy.
