How often do you use these days?

They can be SOOOOO useful, especially this time of the year when things crop up last minute

These days you’re not looking to lose weight, you’re not looking to gain, you’re maintaining what you’ve achieved already

Say you’re in a 500 calorie deficit a day

That’s a 3500 calorie deficit a week

If you used a maintenance day 3 out of the 7 days

(A spontaneous Tuesday night pub trip, Friday & Saturday night socials)

That takes so much pressure off you, you have more calories to play with those days, and you’re still in a 2000 calories deficit for the week

Even if you used it 6 out of the 7 days in December, that’s still a minor loss a week and you have so much more freedom

What’s you would you rather

Be real with yourself, accept it’s not a dieting day because PUB, and you maintain that day

OR

You force what’s not going to work, go over your calories, spiral and think f*ck it, I’ll just start again in January

You can leave December and enter Jan with losses, mainly maintaining your years work, ready to put your foot back on the gas in January

OR

Leave December and enter January a few pounds heavier, feeling pretty sh*t and lose the first month undoing your work because you let things spiral

Both scenarios you can fully enjoy the festive seasons, and the food & drinks that come with it

The difference is being realistic with yourself and knowing when you can have a normal day, and when you need to accept you just need to aim to maintain

Rather than trying to force the impossible and overwhelming yourself

That’s a wrap

This post was meant to come on Sunday, but due to a busy BlackFriday turnout, my doors will now be closed until next year!

It’s been an incredible year within Level Up

But now we’re going into December it’s time to enjoy the festive season and help the team live their best lives while entering 2026 in a strong place

Thankyou to all my clients past and present, you’re all amazing!‹‹But I will be opening a waiting list for January 2026 for anyone that’s wanting to enquire for then

And if you want an insight into my coaching before 2026, you can grab 4 Weeks FREE coaching via the link in my bio

Thankyou all for supporting me and my page daily

It means the world to me

I know you’ve seen a 1001 Black Friday offer by now

đŸ™‹đŸ»â€â™‚ïž But here’s one that’s actually worth hearing out

Right now is the cheapest my program will ever be

Not only that, but I’m giving away a welcome package worth £100 for the last 3 spaces of the year!!! 🎁

After these 3 spaces are gone, my doors will close for the rest of the year with my prices increasing with the reopening in January

So let’s jump to the pointđŸ‘‡đŸ»

đŸ‘‰đŸ» If you’re someone that’s been stung by Slimming Clubs and unsustainable diets in the past

đŸ‘‰đŸ» If you’re sick of being stuck in the all or nothing routine and getting absolutely nowhere

đŸ‘‰đŸ» If you finally want a life in the middle ground that you can feel fit & healthy, have a figure you love while still enjoying the fun things in life

This is for you!

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Spend December building your foundations while enjoying all your Xmas parties and spontaneous pub trips

This can be the first Christmas you enjoy to the fullest and not feel guilty about enjoying all the fun things that come with it

đŸ‘‰đŸ»Have that balance and enter January in full control, ready to smash 2026 from the start, rather than working on undoing December

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Over the start of 2026 watch your energy sky rocket, your fitness & strength improve while the weight drops off

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Be your first clothes size down before Easter, then dropping your second and even third clothes size down before your first summer holiday

You’ll no longer jump from diet to diet losing and regaining the same weight

But you’ll learn how to build a diet & lifestyle that loses ALL the weight and actually keeps it off

đŸč Meals and drinks with your family & friends are compulsory

đŸ« Chocolate each day is required

(I joke, but if you don’t I will)

Have a life that has the best of both worlds so you never have to go back to how you feel right now

This offer isn’t around for ever, I’d hate for you to sit on it and be hit with the late tax by putting it off until next year

đŸ“± If you’re interested DM me ‘BLACK FRIDAY’ for a pressure free chat

But remember, there is only 3 spaces for this at my current price until I reopen in 2026

Something Big is Coming 👀

We rarely run specials
but for Black Friday this year
we’ve got something exciting in planning 😏

I’ll keep this short and sweet, but if you’ve been burned by Slimming Clubs & FAD diets and you’re sick of:

1ïžâƒŁ Losing and regaining the same weight over and over again

2ïžâƒŁ Having no confidence and feeling like sh*t on a daily basis

3ïžâƒŁ Just surviving from day to day and you want to THRIVE

Then you’ll want to keep an eye on my account & story tomorrow

You WILL NOT want to miss this

10 years ago I was broke, working at ASDA

I had no social life working late every weekend and I hated my job

And when I was off, I had no money to actually do anything

I just felt like I was in a rut

I didn’t want my entire working life to be that way

Stuck in a job I hated, dreading going to work every day for the next 40 years

For to long I played the victim

Complaining about my situation, but never really doing anything about it

Until I reached breaking point

I NEEDED to change

So I pulled my finger out and did something about it

Working full time while completing my Personal Training qualification to retake control of my life again

10 years on I thank my former self for biting the bullet and taking action

Because I never stop and actually reflect on my own journey, something I’m always telling clients to do

I now run my own coaching company

I own and run my own gym

And now I’ve created a new academy to teach people to also become certified personal trainers

I really don’t like talking about my achievements

But in this case, I will to show that ANYTHING is possible if you put your mind to it

It’s so easy to be stuck in a rut and play the victim never doing anything about it

But if you’re feeling sh*t, the power to change that is in your hands

No matter your starting point, no matter the situation, YOU can achieve anything

Sometimes you just need that push, that helping hand

And from someone’s that’s been there knowing exactly how you feel, I’m here to help

If you want 2026 to be YOUR year

Just DM me COACH and I’ll drop you some more info on coaching and how you can be the best version of yourself

You pull up to the gym first thing in the morning

Pre-workout in hand, tunes blaring

The carpark is rammed and you already know it’s going to be busy in there

You down the pre-workout and head inside

As soon as you step through the door you can see most machines are being used

The sound of weights slamming with terrible dance music fills the air, and you have no idea where to start

There’s no plan of action so you just power walk to and jump on the first machine you see that’s available

You do a set of 10 reps that felt pretty easy

Upping the weight, doing another 10 that also felt pretty easy

But you don’t want to over do it, so you keep the weight there and do another easy 10 reps

You jump on 3-4 more random machines to do the same

What ever is free, no plan of action, just anything will do at this point

After that 4th machine you think f*ck it, that will do

Time to head home, feeling like it was just a waste of a session

The next day you do the same
‹Walk into the same atmosphere, to the same people, and jump on a different 4-5 machines

Doing 10 reps of an okay weight before moving on

After a few weeks of doing this it just feels like a waste of time

You look no different, feel no different, it’s just boring

This is how Andy felt

He’d tried the gym in the past but he didn’t know what he was doing

He’d go in feeling a bit lost, do a few machines and leave

Never really feeling or seeing any progress

Now he’s going in with a plan in hand

In and out in 40mins

His diet now reflects his goals, and he’s gaining a better understanding week on week

Something he’d never considered in the past

His strength is going through the roof now he has structure

Alongside dropping 15kg!

The gym can be a confusing place if you don’t know what to do

So if you’re ready to stop winging every session and finally get in the shape you want

Message me COACH and lets chat

Are you trying to eat ‘clean’?

Because if you are, you’re doing it wrong

Food isn’t clean or dirty

Unless your fridge needs a good bleaching

But in all seriousness, labelling food like this is always going to end in disaster

You’re going to try live on rabbit food for too long and demonise anything that you enjoy

You should be trying to prioritise more home cooked whole foods

Incorporate more fruit and veg into your diet

But you should also be factoring in some chocolate, some biscuits, a meal out or a takeaway each week

Just because your priorities have changed, doesn’t mean your taste buds have as well

Removing everything you enjoy from your diet is just going to end with you binging on it in the long run and feeling like a failure

It’s more about moderation and control than elimination

Why not try eating out 1-2 times a week, rather than 4-5 or non at all

Why not try having a small chocolate bar rather than a share bar each night

Why not keep the wine for a Saturday night rather than 5-6 times a week

The term ‘clean eating’ is another form of all or nothing

That mentality hasn’t worked in the past, so why would it work now?

Sit in the middle ground

Aim to be healthier, a better version of yourself

But also a version that allows yourself to have the things you enjoy each day, each week but just in a smaller dose?

You’ll actually enjoy your diet, you’ll look forward to that sweet treat or Saturday night Chinese

And you’ll find yourself actually sticking to something longer than a month

Remember, food isn’t dirty or clean

You don’t need a ‘cheat meal’

And you don’t need to feel guilty or eating the foods you enjoy

Eat a balance diet and you’ll feel 10x less overwhelm while trying to better yourself

It’s now cold, dark & wet

The sofa seems so appealing

Leaving the house feels like a struggle

It can feel like life is on hold until the new year

đŸ‘‰đŸ» I’ll get back into the gym in January

đŸ‘‰đŸ» I’ll take my diet seriously after Xmas

But why put life on pause for 2 months?

Let’s be honest, every year this has happened you’ve felt pretty sh*tty over Xmas in the baggy jumpers

Finding a place to start in January feels 10x more difficult

Why not do something different this year?

Why not spend the end of the year getting into a solid routine To get ahead of next year?

You don’t have to sacrifice your weekends

You don’t have to sacrifice your Christmas parties

And you don’t need to live in the gym over winter

But you can lose up to a stone before 2026 while feeling so much more confident and fitter

New year new me is a con

Don’t fall into the trap like everyone else and ease into things now rather than later

Then you can hit the ground running come January rather than trying to workout where to start

Just drop me a message saying COACH and I’ll drop you some info

“Hate me me now, thank me later”

The message that comes with every program update

And yes, she curses me every single time

But when she’s up that mountain enjoying the views again, those curse words soon turn to thanks

Read through Jo’s incredible journey and you’ll see what doors can open up in life when you make yourself a priority again

Knowing where to start can be daunting

How many days are you meant to be in the gym?

What exercises do you do?

How do I structure it?

So here’s my top 3 tips I wish I knew when I was first starting out

1. More isn’t always best

Trying to do 10 exercises in the gym each time is just going to take forever and you’re going to feel f*cked at the end

By the last 4 exercises you’ve got nothing left in the tank

Same with trying to be in the gym 6 days a week

It’s so much pressure and you’re going to feel like you’re 90 and broken by the end of the week

Aim for 2-4 times a week and start with 6 exercises, it’s more than enough to progress

2. There is no ‘perfect’ training split

As long as it fits into your week, that’s perfect for you

2x Full body workouts
1x full body workout, 1x upper body, 1x lower body
2x upper body, 2x lower body

Just a few examples, but it all comes down to YOUR Goals and what you want to achieve

3. Machines are for EVERYONE

It’s not about just free weight exercises, or just machines

Combining the two is fantastic

They all have their uses and their place in everyone’s workouts

It shouldn’t be one or the other

15 years later I still use both now

This way you can do things not only safely and effectively

But you can factor them in when you naturally start to get tired in a workout to still train with intent

These are just 3 of my tips for your workouts

But if you need any other help, my inbox is always open to help

This is always a sad day

But at the same time a really happy one

Faye has graduated from Level Up ready to take things into her own hands

It’s always sad to see someone leave after working with them for so long

But it’s been incredible so work with Faye every step of the way and see how much she’s evolved

And I’m so happy she feels like she now has the lifestyle, the routine and the structure to continue on her own going forwards

What she’s achieved is nothing but remarkable

And her hard work has made it happen

đŸ‘‰đŸ» She’s found her love for running and netball again

đŸ‘‰đŸ» She’s stronger, fitter and 10x more confident in the gym

đŸ‘‰đŸ» She’s lost 30kg of unwanted weight and now wearing a size 10 with confidence

She’s not said no to any meals or drinks with friends

She’s not sacrificed any holidays, just smoothly maintained through them

She’s not let a busy life stop her, just learned to adapt to it

It can feel overwhelming when you know where you want to be but it feels like it’s just not possible

But Faye is prog that if you want to change, if you want to feel your best, YOU can do it

It was around this time of the year Faye joined the team, ready to get ahead of a new year

She didn’t wait for the ‘New year new me’

She took action

If you want to be like Faye and transform your life without the social sacrifice

Just DM me COACH and I’ll drop you some info
