National Play in Healthcare Week 2025 🎈
This week we join in celebrating 50 years of Play β€” recognising the vital role that the play team have in supporting the children and young people in our care πŸŽ‰

We recognise that for babies, children and young people, play in healthcare can:

🌟 Reduce anxiety during treatments
🌟 Help children understand their care and diagnosis
🌟 Support recovery and emotional wellbeing
🌟 Support mental health
🌟 Provide a safe space
🌟 Provide normality in an unfamiliar environment

We have lots of exciting activities going on to help celebrate the event throughout the week. We will also be sharing some of the work we have done so far in 2025!
