A novel use for my acupuncture needles. My son made it for a Christmas present. It's a tool to distribute coffee in a hopper before using in my coffee machine. Works a treat.

It's World Menopause Day today. So I thought I'd post a picture of a woman who has experienced menopause first hand, me! I'm embarrassed to say that before it hit me I thought it would just be some hot flushes. How wrong could I be. There were hot flushes but I wasn't ready for anxiety, crippling self doubt (not great when you're doing an acupuncture degree), emotions all over the place, rubbish sleep, brain fog, no energy, the appearance of tummy rolls, painful feet ... The list goes on. The positive from my experience is that I understand what you might be going through, so if you are suffering as you negotiate the menopause maybe acupuncture could help.
