So recently, there’s been a lot of talk on here about ugly shop frontages in Otley - from myself included. However, yesterday, on my way to the Secret Garden Cafe on Westgate (gorgeous frontage there), I passed a shop which gave me so much joy to look at it, that I had to go back to see it again. If you get the opportunity, go and look at the window at Soft Options interiors opposite the little car park. It’s beautiful - Chinese wallpaper, fairy lights, autumnal decorations. My photo doesn’t do it justice because of reflections etc. Somebody has put a lot of effort into this and it’s really paid off. I’m not affiliated with this shop at all but just always on the lookout for beautiful things in Otley. See it if you can

Venetian and Roman marble feet - slim, elegant, tortured, damaged, worn. Looking at all of them, I expect that they would all definitely have benefited from a bit of reflexology TLC

Given the perilous state of the NHS at the moment, I am doing my best to stay as healthy as possible. Part of this is trying to have nutritious smoothies when I can
This morning’s glass of delight involved oat milk, a banana, frozen berries, a bit of cucumber, parsley, kefir and my new favourite Haskapa powder - a powder of dried berries that are full of great nutrients. Sometimes I put half an avocado in as well and this keeps me going until lunch time
I am currently stocking Haskapa berry powder at a great introductory price (£12) instead of the rrp of £17. Not many left so let me know soon if you’d like one

Just had my first client with long COVID. I think that this is probably the thin end of the wedge and there will be more as time goes on. Within the last 2 hours I have heard of 3 cases of COVID amongst people I know. People think that we have gone back to ‘normal’, abandoning masks etc. Please be careful - it’s still there and we need to be on our guard
In my clinic we have lots of fresh air and COVID-safe arrangements. Just thinking though, that come winter, blankets will be provided but you may have to bring your own woolly hat! 🧣🧤
