Flexible Healing - Physiotherapy Clinic and Training

Flexible Healing - Physiotherapy Clinic and Training Based in Otley, West Yorkshire, we offer tailored physiotherapy treatments for short-term or chronic pain. We also offer Pilates classes.

Patients visit our practice with a wide range of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Our soft tissue mobilisations, are based in the ground braking Hendrickson Method, which not only allows to affect the soft tissue, also the joints via the unique wave mobilisation, which is a very gentle movement that allow the spine to rock enabling the body to hydrate the joints. Our treatments have helped many other conditions including, asthma, osteoarthritis, TMJ pain and chronic fatigue syndrome. On your first visit to our practice, a detailed case history will be taken to allow us to create a bespoke treatment plan for you. This will take into account past medical history and a hands on assessment. We will explain all our insights and findings and discuss timescales and expectations of recovery as each person is unique. We continually reassess to ensure that the plan we devised is working for you. Hendrickson Method massage and manual therapy for Orthopedic conditions can help a number of complaints including:

This weekend, we were celebrating twenty years of Flexible-Healing workshops 🌟

It's been quite a journey from teaching Muscle Engery technique, Positional Release. To begin training with Tom Hendrickson to becoming one of Tom's teachers. Then, passing on his Hendrickson Method.

My teaching years have been made special by the therapists who have attended, the friendships that have been formed. The thought-provoking moments, lots of laughs, and shared learning.
It has felt like such a privilege.

Some of us shared a celebration 🍾 meal , with wonderful food, a warm, friendly service.

So here's to a few more years πŸ₯‚

Strasbourg, you were so interesting !! and beautiful, thought-provoking, it may have been rather wet !!.....may have had to purchase warmer clothes πŸ™ˆ.
A city that has swapped between being French and then German and back again throws up thoughts of where you find your identity, had some interesting little chats πŸ™‚πŸ’• rather wonderful art galleries.
