It was such a privilege to cut the ribbon to officially open the Beyond 19 Programme at House of Pottery in Otley, this partnership really is something special in our local community!

If you haven’t visited yet, be sure to check it out! The students are usually in and serving you Wednesday to Friday 11am-1:30pm

BEYOND 19 - From pipe dream to reality, we are so excited to announce our new collaboration with Green Meadows Academy and their Post 16 students ❤️

The development of the Beyond 19 Program will provide students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) valuable work experience, life skills training, and social interaction opportunities, preparing them for a more independent transition to life beyond the traditional school years and adulthood.

This collaboration is the first stepping stone into creating a visionary, unique opportunity for pupils with SEND. One in which they can flourish and reach their potential, showing along the way that having a special need or disability is not a barrier to living a full and fruitful life.

Working alongside the House of Pottery and Green Meadows staff, the students will learn all aspects of how to run a business, and serve the public from our cafe.

The Program starts w/c 6th October, opening hours are:

Weds/Thurs/Fri: 10-2pm (students will be serving between 11am & 1.30pm).

House of Pottery is also open as usual on a Saturday, 10-4pm.

Please support the students and pop in for a cuppa, delicious toastie/snack or paint a pot.
