This is a long read but it made so much sense to me that I wanted to share it. ❤️
There are wounds that cannot be healed no matter how much we try.
Circumstances that will remain unalterable regardless of how much shapeshifting we do.
Accepting this liberates us.
It opens a flow of creative potential that alchemizes the expression of our essential nature.
So much of the "healing" industry is built on a lie that if we heal our core wounds we will finally receive the love we long for, have all the success and make all the money.
If those things aren't happening the way we like, it means we haven't healed enough.
This arises out of the firmament that we must be "good" little children to get what we desire in a culture rooted in separation.
It sends the message of a scarcity of love, reminding us that if we haven't healed enough, we aren't worthy of love.
That we cannot yet share our genius with the world.
If others don't meet these standards that we have been conditioned to expect, then they aren't worthy of our love either.
It's created this mythic, perfectly healed, totally regulated, spiritually idealized state that is, in reality, a product of a wounded culture longing for its own essence.
It's not reality.
The lie of the healing industry keeps us stuck in loops.
It does not support generative spirals of natural growth and evolution.
These lies create profound suffering and isolation, including from ourselves.
This lie is highly problematic and causes so much harm.
It contributes to the pervasive deficit of compassion, empathy and kindness that our current culture is soaked in.
Within and without.
We simply do not know how to be with human suffering in a good way.
A lot of industries profit from this.
Our core wounds of separation, and how we experience them, are not meant to be healed.
They are meant to evolve us.
We aren't static, linear beings.
We are cyclical beings, who follow the cycles of Nature.
This is why we cycle through the same core issues throughout our lives.
We touch into them at deeper and deeper levels to access more Eros, truth, release, freedom, wisdom, awakening and evolution.
Every deep dive changes us and then we create something from this new energy.
We were never meant to stay down there tending to a construction project of self that can never be finished.
This is why, especially for cycle breakers and those black sheep who dive into the shadows to try to unconsciously heal for others, the healing journey is in learning to truly live.
To transform the pain of the past into beauty in a way that honors everything that came before without abandoning our own soul's journey.
To use suffering as the grounds for architecturing new meaning, wisdom, art, technology, thought and ways of being for a better world.
A world that not only understands its past but actually metabolizes it into a better future.
The ancients understood this deeply.
Jung wrote of it as the individuation process.
To become an embodiment of the essence of one's true self is the spiritual journey of this lifetime.
As Simone de Beauvoir once said, to accept the great adventure of being ourselves.
Maybe self-acceptance is one of the greatest healing salves there is.
Astrologically, we experience a number of psychospiritual passages in our lifetime that contribute to individuation as evolution.
The Saturn return in our late twenties, the Uranus opposition at midlife and the spiritual rebirth of Chiron return.
Chiron recognized that he received a wound that he could not heal, no matter what he did.
So, he sacrificed his immortality.
The Gods were so touched by this that they immortalized him as the constellation of Sagittarius, the archer who represents the generosity of wisdom that comes from the embodiment of higher knowledge and exploration.
The Holy Outsider.
The embodiment of the alchemical process of individuation.
The highest expression of the wounded healer, black sheep and cycle breaker.
Chiron understood that all healing was a developmental process of becoming.
This is one facet of the pathway he represents in our natal charts.
In his ancient temples, he taught that after one receives a healing vision or insight, the true healing happens when there is a creative act.
Whether a ritual or a meal, a dance, a poem or work of art.
It didn't matter.
Since alchemy is ultimately a creative act, it makes sense that the integration of any healing session would include creativity.
What we create also creates us.
When we give ourselves over to this process, we become more and more of who we really are.
And, in the process, we weave medicine from our genius.
Those deep Plutonic creations are what bring healing to the world instead of algorithmic proof that you are worthy.
I believe it was in the Gospel of Thomas that it was said that to bring through what is within us will heal us...and not to will kill us.
Repressing our gifts and trying to heal ourselves until we are good enough perpetuates a culture of shame and fear many profit from.
Allowing ourselves to turn our deepest visions and prayers into creative endeavors, no matter how small or large, heals us.
Awakens us.
Brings liberation to our lineages.
Offers a much needed healing elixir to the world that can only arise from that very intersection of healed and not healed.
What we weave is the bridge that heals separation.
Do you need more healing or is there something longing to be created from the alchemy of your suffering?
This is but one way we return to nature.
Our nature.
And the Wild.
Spring always follows Winter.
The deep always feeds the blooming.
Learn the path of your blooming.
Everything else will follow.
If you feel curious about your personal Chironic pathway, my books are open for Chiron natal chart sessions.
