This morning we had our last game of Kurling with Sue as she is retiring, Margaret presented her with a card and flowers and thanked her for all she has done for us.

This morning we had a visit from Maritsa with her little dog Betty the residents had a little cuddle then we done ABC of flowers.

The children from Oulton school came in and they brought some Easter pictures to colour in with the residents, lots of concentration going on.

Resident lead Activity this afternoon, well done John. Hopefully we will get an Art Group going on, on a 2 or 3 week basis.

Well Jack had a lovely surprise this morning from our Head Of Housekeeping Kerry and her husband Dave, Dave had been given some model aeroplanes which were flat packed and you have to build them to complete the project. He did just that and decided to gift them to Jack knowing he had flown a Lancaster Bomber before, and knew of Jack’s passion for flying. Thank you both so much for thinking of Jack, he is now the proud new owner of a Lancaster Bomber and a Spitfire.

Spring is here officially and the Daffodils are in abundance……Jenny was decanting them into bud vases for our Dining Room tables and what a lovely job she did!!!
