Say hello to two new Pilates teachers to our EBS team, Alice and Kat!
Kat is taking over the Tuesday morning slot, whilst Alice has a brand new class to our schedule on Sunday mornings. Join us in welcoming them both to the studio. ๐

"I first began practicing Pilates as a teenager, attending classes with my mum. I loved the mix of calm focus and deep burn. Years later, having trained as a Level 3 mat Pilates instructor, I know teenage me would be proud!
"A little more about me, I studied nutrition at university, with a focus on the microbiome. Although I donโt work in this field now, I still have a big love of all things wellness. When Iโm not teaching, you may find me playing tennis or on a long โmatcha & yapโ walk with my friends!
"My teaching style blends classical and contemporary sequences, layering movements so all levels can progress. Iโm a big fan of props, especially the magic circle and small weights. A signature sequence in my class is a quick-fire arm flow: fun and fiery! The aim of my class is to guide students to feel stronger and more centred."

"I ended up in my first class quite randomly โ my favourite yoga teacher also taught Pilates and kept inviting me. As a hardcore gym girlie, I thought Pilates would be super easy and not offer much to surprise me. How humbled I was! I still remember my arms shaking and finding muscles I never knew existed. That was it โ I was hooked. I fell in love with Pilates for the unmatched sense of control and balance it brings.
"Iโm a big onesie apologist. As a rower, I spend at least half my week in one-pieces, and Pilates is the perfect excuse to wear them even more!
"Iโm pretty artsy, even though my career is rooted in research. Youโll often find me painting, drawing, photography, pottery. I also have lots of tiny colourful tattoos on my hands โ so Iโm always surrounded by flowers and colours."
