The Oxford Communists 2025 was our best year yet!

The last year has been the most tumultuous in living memory; war and instability, but also revolution and the re-awakening of class struggle across the world! The Revolutionary Communist International has met the challenges and set to building an organisation capable of intervening decisively in these struggles!

In Oxford, we've done just that, intervening in the Khalida Jarrar library protests and ongoing Palestine movement, taking our biggest contigent to Revolution Festival and our summer camp, and running our best Freshers campaign ever! Over £7000 have been raised by our comrades and over 750 papers sold by our comrades as we take communist ideas into the heart of Oxford!

Join us on Sunday the 23rd of November at 2-3pm. We will be at the Jolly Farmer in Oxford. Our discussion will be on the first two chapters of the communist manifesto.

This classic of Marxist literature is as relevant today as when it was written, as Capitalism still has the same fundamental problems and workers are still fighting the same battles.
By studying literature we can raise our sights for the need of revolution. But studying is not enough without discussion and practice. Through discussion we master, not simply learn, the theory and methods of Marxism.

Tomorrow's 7pm meeting at Hollings Polygon Room, Catholic Chaplaincy may be our most important one yet.

We are at a crucial political point where the Palestine demonstrations are being linked with the utter failings of the ruling class. Alongside this, workers are actively blocking further supplies to Israel. This is crucial, as they begin to realise their true power.

However, this doesn't mean this will automatically translate to revolution, nor can we wait around to see when that happens.

Thus, it's our job to get organised, and understand what it means to truly fight for a free Palestine.

Join the communists on Wednesday the 15/10/25 at 8pm at the Jericho Community Center OX2 6BQ.

It is clear to young people today that capitalism is failing, from the deeper and deeper economic crises that the Tories and Labour have forced the most vulnerable to pay for, to the constant wars that our own ruling class funnels money towards leaving education and healthcare crumbling.

However the people have had enough. A revolutionary wave is sweeping the world, with corrupt governments being toppled. The working class is looking for a way forward and is ready to fight for it.

All it would take for these movements to take power and put actual change in place is a revolutionary organization that can help the working class realize their value, and finally organize a society where things are produced for need and not for profit.

If you are ready to fight for the overthrow of capitalism then the RCP is the organization for you. Come along to our meeting to find out more!

As we know, the Global Sumud Flotilla was intercepted by Israeli armed forces, illegally detaining hundreds of people yesterday morning.

But, while the Italian ruling-class turned its back on those in need, it’s the Italian dockers and youth that are showing the way forward, as they work together to prevent fuel and war material being sent to Israel.

Now, demonstrations have getting bigger, with the question of Palestine reflecting a brewing anger at their own ruling-class who are happy to attack their workers, while continuing to fund a genocide elsewhere.

For a workers boycott of Israel!

Comrades from the RCP attended a meeting supporting "Your Party" led by Zara Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn.

The formation of a party that represents everyday people is vital to take the fight to the three parties of the billionaires; Labour, Reform and the Tories. The political vacuum on the Left - which is exploited demagogically by Farage - is what prevents a political fightback against this rotten system!

This new party needs an unapologetically revolutionary programme, that stands against austerity, against imperialist war, and against capitalism! For that, it needs clear political perspectives and a leadership with the courage to carry these out, against the attacks that will inevitably come its way.

It's official; the first ever World Congress of the Revolutionary Communist International is here! From across the world, comrades are gathering in Italy to debate world perspectives, with watch parties happening all over the world!

We don't discuss this as an academic exercise. All this is to equip us for the class struggles to come, which will be influenced by the turmoil on the international stage!

The workers across the world have not been defeated; we are seeing rising class struggle everywhere. What will determine the outcome is the presence of a revolutionary leadership, that understands the forces at play and works alongside the workers, to ensure that their great fight ends not in exhaustion, but in outright victory!

We're in the final push of our campaign to find budding Communists!
The new party started by Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn shows there's an enormous anger against imperialism, capitalism, and the actions of Starmer and his cronies, on Palestine and the austerity he is implementing! More people are coming in to fight against the billionaires, forcing Starmer to feint left in words for breathing space, and we want to see those people equipped for battle with the right ideas to expose his hypocrisy and form a solid plan for battle!
