Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a new community wellbeing initiative starting in Oxfordshire.

Many people struggle with fatigue, stress, poor sleep or chronic health issues, but we rarely learn the foundations of health in everyday life.

We are launching a free community workshop called “5 Pillars of Health – Free Community Wellbeing Workshop”, where we explore simple, practical ways to support:
- sleep
- nutrition
- mental wellbeing
- movement

The goal is to create a friendly space where people can learn, ask questions and connect with others interested in improving their wellbeing and build social connections.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is now available in Bicester.

You may have heard athletes, recovery clinics, and wellness centres talk about HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy).

But what exactly is it?

HBOT is a therapy where you relax in a pressurised chamber while breathing oxygen.
The pressure allows oxygen to dissolve more efficiently into body tissues.

People often explore it as part of a broader wellbeing strategy focused on recovery, resilience and overall vitality.

Chronic stress isn’t “just in your head.” It’s a biological domino effect.

When stress stays high, your body keeps releasing cortisol.
And that can start a chain reaction:

1. Trigger: chronic stress → cortisol up
2. Gut–brain axis: the gut microbiome gets disrupted → mood and mental clarity can dip
3. Energy system: cortisol can raise blood sugar → energy crashes, cravings, imbalance
4. Immune system: disrupted gut + ongoing stress → inflammation switches on

That’s why people can feel tired, wired, bloated, foggy, more reactive, or “run down” even when they’re trying to eat better and exercise.

If you’ve got fatigue, brain fog, bloating, low mood, frequent infections, inflammation, this is why symptom-chasing usually fails; you’re treating the “branch,” not the “root system.”
