The beautiful Delilah loved her Masterson session today. She’s not been too sure in the past, which made her a great case study! Her owner persevered as she saw the benefits of Masterson and now Delilah is fully on board!

I’m off for a 2 day stint at Park Farm Stables Oxted later this week and only have availability for Masterson sessions on 13th, 19th and 29th December if you were thinking of booking in before the end of the year 🦄

After a muddy walk this morning, Murphy is delighted that for the next 2 days I have my ‘I’m a Homeopath’ hat on, which means I’ll be at home with him and his only worry is getting to the front door before me to meet and greet the arriving clients. On occasion, a client asks if he can join the appointment under the guise of ‘therapy dog’ – not something I encourage with a 46kg dog who likes to sit on laps!

It’s been a great week out seeing horses and their owners. Some horses have fully embraced the Masterson techniques and some have wondered what on earth I’m doing with the Light to Core techniques and have done their very best to avoid feeling the deeper releases.

I’m back out visiting yards in Warlingham on Saturday and Murphy has his paws crossed that Sunday is a Netflix and chill day.

An amazing 24 hours out and about seeing horses. First stop on Friday was to see 2 of my regulars in Turners Hill for their 6 weekly check up, then off to see 2 new horses based with Michelle Clarke at Flint Hall where the Kettle is always on and the welcome warm (I got to cuddle a puppy too!).
Harry has recently come back into work and was keen to check what I was writing about him and Hendrix the gentle but oh so cheeky WB was very happy to always offer me the leg opposite to the one I was asking for!
Today has been a drive down to Slinfold to meet beautiful Bessie, a rescue pony who has very definitely found a home filled with love to live out her days. She held so much emotion in her little body, and her owner was amazed by just how much she felt safe to let go of during her session.
Next week I’m out and about in Reigate, Warlingham and Felbridge if you’d like me to find some room in my diary for you 🦄💜

I’ve had a pinch me moment today and feel incredibly humbled and thankful to a lot of people!

On Saturday, I sent out a DM to a few people I know locally who have horses and I thought (hoped!) would be interested in a Masterson bodywork session for their horse(s). Within 48 hours of me sending a tentative message, I have 17 horses booked into my diary over the coming 3 weeks.

It’s difficult to know how a message will be received when you mention you qualified a month ago in an equine therapy that isn’t that well known in the UK, so I am very grateful to the owners of the 17 horses that said ‘yes please’.

When I decided to train in The Masterson Method it wasn’t just because my preference is to work with these beautiful animals, but also because I felt so deeply within my soul that this is what I am meant to be doing. The universe has definitely given me a big thumbs up over the last couple of days!

So, thank you again to everyone who has said yes please for their horse, I still have a little bit of availability for a few more. 🦄❤

Why I’ve added The Masterson Method® to my practice……

Having been a Homeopath for over 20 years, a good percentage of my time is spent advising and educating horse owners on how to use homeopathy to support their animal’s health and wellbeing.

I’d been wanting to study a bodywork method that embodied the homeopathic basis of ‘the minimum dose’ for a few years and along came The Masterson Method® with its ‘less is more’ approach to working with the horse and not just on the horse to relieve built-up tension in core muscles and key junctions of the body that affect the horse’s performance.

In contrast to traditional massage, The Masterson Method®, developed by Jim Masterson, works with the horse’s nervous system and focuses on the horse actively participating in the process. The light touch techniques don’t trigger the horses natural brace response, which in turn allows for a deeper release of tension and relaxation.

I’m out and about treating horses across Surrey, Sussex and Kent at the moment and running interactive demos on yards, so if you’d like to know more, drop me a message.
