We are the UK's leading trauma charity. Our aim is to help you help those in need. Trauma Care is the leading trauma charity. We are the only organisation that embraces and teaches all healthcare professionals in the care of trauma victims, from roadside to rehab. We were founded in 1996 to address the need for commonly agreed standards of best clinical practice in the management of trauma. We aim to improve the outcome of the trauma victim by establishing best practice throughout the whole chain of care. We achieve this through education, research and publishing. No other organisation encompasses the diverse specialities involved in care of trauma victims from the moment of injury, to the return to active life. We will help you help those in need.

Tim was one of the authors of the European Guidelines for the Management of Bleeding after Trauma. These guidelines are the best summary of the current state of knowledge about what to do in the emergency care of the bleeding patient.

In this webinar, Prof Tim Coats will discuss the key principles from the guidelines and how they apply to real-world trauma care, helping clinicians make faster and better decisions when managing bleeding patients.
