Today should of been a day of celebration as our founder Vivien Mickey Storey again in her own time, along with other amazing people that just want to make a difference, has finished an amazing 6 months program teaching her how to give the best support not only to the community but everyone she meets.
Unfortunately Today has been over shadowed by reports that some people/businesses in the community have been questioning what we spend our money on ?
So we just thought we would set the record straight.
NO 1. What money ? Nobody gives us any money ?
We work every hour possible with blood sweat and tears, giving time up that should be spent with our children and our own families to make every single penny that comes to the hub.
No2. Nobody knows what we do at the hub ? If anyone has any questions about who we are, what we do. Its 97 burnley road padiham Bb128bl.

Let's have a little run down of our monthly bills.
Our storage under the bank where we keep everything for the community. Whether its baby items, duvets, microwaves or things for the homeless
£400 per month
Our meeting room in the old youth club, where we do all our admin, have all our one to ones because everyone that comes for help does so with full confidentiality. Training and help with getting adults qualifications. Our training and where all personal details are kept and where we work with inspire.
£320 per month
Our lock up on cemetery road that keeps all our school uniform, Christmas stock and other essentials, to stop anything perishing.
£120 per month
The hub its self, the heart of padiham where we help hundreds of people per month.
Put on our free activities and be a life line to whoever opens our door.

Hugs 4 Free Pre-loved Boutique
Is not a charity shop it is a pre loved shop that not only provides the whole community with affordable clothing it is again a space where the community comes for much needed help.
£360 per month
Internet for the hub and hugs for free
£68 per month
Electricity for hugs for free.
Anything upto £180 per month
Electricity for the hub around £90 per month
SKIP THAT OTHER INDIVIDUALS LIKE TO DUMP THERE RUBBISH IN.

That is a total of £1858
Not one single activity, materials, refreshments or the rest of our daily experiences are on there.
Our account balance at the moment is£3567.72p
In 20 days all those bills will again be taken and we will be down again to £1709 thats without all our extra expenses.
We made £42 in our shop today that helps fund what we do.
YOU DO THE MATH.
Countless months when we dont have enough it comes out of Vivs own pocket. Because if it didn't we wouldn't be able to open and she wouldn't let that happen.
4 years ago we started something that is now a necessity.
Instead of assuming and instead of sadly gossiping.
Walk in the hub and ask.
Days like today really make us deflated.
We work tirelessly to make a difference. We cant do that without help and support.
