Hi hubbers.

Christmas has now passed and the new year is getting closer by the day.

Our next step before we reopen is to pass on a challenge. For the first 30 days in January we have an act of kindness quest for you. We have put a picture on for you to save/print and cross off each day.

Let's start 2026 by spreading love, compassion and kindness across the community.

Well guys thats a wrap.

112 local children's Christmas made special, 364 presents delivered by the hubs elves.

Sorted by the children in our community.

Every single gift donated by the community, to make a difference to local families.

Thankyou to every single volunteer who has give their time round the clock this week and every other week.

Thankyou to everyone that has donated gifts, money, selection boxes.

You are all community hero's.

Its time for the hub to hang their coats up now and enjoy time with their families.

See you all in the new year.

Morning.

Viv will be at the hub 12 till 1 today if you need to drop anything off.

We will close messages for Christmas appeal at 1pm so that people have a last chance to message us and to give volunteers to time to get everything ready for delivery xx

No alarm set for in the morning, no waking up early or stretching and yawning.

Hot chocolate for lunch and peanuts for dinner, games galore let's see who's the winner.

Lots of laughter and staying in our peejaays, how lovely to see each other for days and days.

Christmas movies and toys all over the floor, family and friends visiting who could want more.

Its only day one and we've had lots of fun, let's not set the alarm so we can have another one.

Tree lights are on and we are left to reflect, on those less fortunate or those suffering neglect.

You see its not the same for every household, some people have nothing or are sleeping in the cold.

Spare a thought or give to the needy, we dont need the world so let's not be greedy.

Teach your children that its important to share and let us as adults learn to care.

So as you lift that Christmas toast, remember those in need and try not to boast.

See kids dont need a fortune or loads of stuff, they just need whats important and love because THATS ENOUGH.

Today is our last day to accept names for our christmas appeal, before we start delivering tomorrow.

We have all worked so hard and its time to spend time with our families.
