Mindfulness Social Evenings East Lancashire Our service provides locala with a venue to meet new people/peers, while learning mental health skill First 15 mins, Meet and greet with hot drinks.

Mindfulness Social Evenings are being created to provide Therapy through games, meditation, mindfulness exercises and informal group communication. A number of our team have or are continuing to live a life alongside the struggles with mental health. Our main aim for MSE is to help our service users to;

become more self-aware
feel calmer and less stressed
feel more able to choose how to respond to your thoughts and feelings
cope with difficult or unhelpful thoughts
be kinder towards yourself. We do this over a 2 hour session of ways which has a routine outlined below. Then we have a Check in followed by a 3 minute mindfulness Exercise. We then either watch an informative video clip or slideshow covering topics about mental health. We then have a break for a hot drink refill or snack. We follow this up with a game or challenge. This can be as individuals or as groups. Towards the end of the session we have a second mindfulness exercise or meditation and Check out.
