Another result I had to share! (Permission given)

This client is a boxer 🥊🥊 and with boxers it’s not unusual to see some ‘winging’ of the scapula and dropping of the shoulder as you can see in the first photo. (The ‘winging’ in this image is actually quite mild)

This had been causing a fair bit of discomfort all around her general shoulder and neck region due to the imbalances and compensatory patterns she’d built up over time. After ten minutes of soft tissue release and other techniques - Yes! ONLY TEN MINUTES! - we brought her scapula back into a more comfortable and relaxed position, and with a little bit of work on my client’s end to bring up strength in some areas that are lacking, she’ll be feeling tip top again.
