Take on the 5 Ferries Challenge on Saturday 9 May 2026—an unforgettable ride across some of Scotland’s most beautiful islands, organised by Sport Ecosse Events. All funds raised go to ACCORD Hospice.

Today is World Happiness Day 💛

Here at ACCORD Hospice, our wonderful Inpatient unit team are marking the occasion with a few thoughtful words of wisdom and some lovely treats to share a smile or two.

Happiness can be found in the simplest of moments - a kind word, a shared laugh, a comforting presence. It’s something we see every day in the care, compassion and connection between our patients, families and staff.

Today, we honour the love, strength, and quiet courage of mothers everywhere.

Mother’s Day can bring a mix of emotions - joy, gratitude, cherished memories, and at times, deep sorrow. At ACCORD Hospice, we hold space for all of these feelings.

We celebrate the mothers who are with us, remember the mothers who live on in our hearts, hold in mind the mothers spending today without their children, and offer our gentle support to families sharing precious final moments together.

If today feels difficult, please remember: you are not alone. Our community stands beside you - today and every day.
