What Is Myo-Inositol? 🧬

Myo-inositol is a naturally occurring compound that belongs to the B-vitamin complex family.

It’s found throughout the body & in foods such as fruits, beans, nuts & whole grains. 🍏

In supplement form, it’s often used to support hormonal and metabolic health 🩷

What Does Myo-Inositol Do?

🩷Hormonal Balance
Supports insulin signaling pathways, important for healthy blood sugar regulation.
Helps with follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and oocyte development in women.

💚Reproductive Health
It’s most commonly used for conditions like:
Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) — helps improve ovulation, regularize menstrual cycles, and support fertility.
Can reduce androgen levels and improve markers of metabolic health in PCOS.

🩷Metabolic Function
May improve insulin sensitivity.
When paired with D-chiro-inositol helps support glucose metabolism.

💚Mental Health & Nervous System
Some research suggests benefits for:
Mood regulation
Anxiety support
Nervous system function

Who Should Use Myo-Inositol? 🧍‍♀️

Women with PCOS or irregular cycles
Myo-inositol is one of the most evidence-supported supplements for PCOS symptoms and fertility support.

Those struggling with insulin resistance
Because it helps with insulin signaling and glucose metabolism.

Typical Dosage 💊
Clinical studies often use:
2–4 grams per day of myo-inositol
Often paired with D-chiro-inositol in a specific ratio (often 40:1) especially for PCOS

Ashwagandha - a traditional medicinal herb commonly taken as a supplement for various health reasons.

Main Benefits

🩷 Reduce Stress & Anxiety
Ashwagandha is best known as an adaptogen — a compound that may help the body respond to stress. Several studies show it can lower cortisol (the “stress hormone”) and reduce perceived stress and anxiety symptoms.

💜May Improve Sleep
Some research suggests ashwagandha can help with sleep quality and insomnia especially at higher doses over several weeks.

💛 Possible Cognitive and Brain Support
Early studies indicate it might support memory, focus and other aspects of brain function, potentially due to antioxidant and neuroprotective effects.

💚 May Boost Physical Performance
There’s some evidence that ashwagandha could enhance muscle strength, endurance and VO₂ max in adults and athletes.

💙Potential Hormonal & Reproductive Support
Some studies show it may raise testosterone levels and improve s***m quality in some men and it can influence hormonal balance.

❤️ Anti-Inflammatory & Antioxidant Effects
Ashwagandha contains compounds that may help lower inflammation and protect cells from oxidative stress.

🩶 Blood Sugar & Metabolic Health
Some small studies suggest possible positive effects on blood sugar regulation and metabolic markers, though more research is needed.

Vitamin D3 the“sunshine vitamin” ☀️

🦴 Supports bone health – Helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus which keeps bones strong and reduces risk of fractures.
🩷Boosts immune system – Plays a role in fighting infections & supporting overall immunity.
💪Muscle function – Helps muscles contract properly
😃Mood & energy support – Low levels of vitamin D3 have been linked to fatigue and seasonal mood changes.

Who Should Take Vitamin D3?

⛅️ People with limited sun exposure – people who work indoors all day, night shift workers & people living in areas with low sun exposure
👨‍🦳Older adults – Vitamin D3 absorption declines with age which increases risk of frail bones & fall risk.
💪Athletes and active individuals – Supports muscle function & recovery.
🌞 People with darker skin – Higher melanin reduces natural vitamin D synthesis from sunlight.
🥚 Those with dietary restrictions – Vegans & people not consuming fortified foods like dairy or eggs may need supplementation.

Top tips
🐟 take with meals containing fat
💊 Vitamin K2 helps with calcium
💊 low Magnesium can reduce the effectiveness of vitamin D supplements
⏰ Take it around the same time daily for steady levels
🍏 Avoid taking with very high-fiber meals, fiber can slightly reduce absorption.

Lutein is one of those low-key hero nutrients, especially for eyes 👀

What lutein does
👁️ Protects your eyes – it acts like internal sunglasses by filtering blue light from screens and sunlight
👀 Supports vision health – helps maintain sharpness and contrast, especially as you age
👁️ Antioxidant powerhouse – fights oxidative stress in the eyes
👀 Supports long-term eye health – linked to reduced risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD)

Who it’s for

📱 People who stare at screens a lot - phones, laptops, gaming, office work
💪 Athletes & gym-goers – eye strain and recovery matter here too
🚘 Drivers & night workers – helps with glare and visual fatigue
👨‍🦳 Aging adults (30+ especially) – lutein levels naturally decline with age
👁️ Anyone who wants to protect their eyesight long-term, not just fix problems later

You get lutein from foods like spinach, kale, broccoli, eggs but most people don’t eat enough daily so supplementation helps fills the gap. 🥦 🥚

What are digestive enzymes?

Proteins your body naturally makes to help break down food so you can absorb nutrients properly.

Proteases → break down protein 🥩
Amylase → breaks down carbohydrates 🥔
Lipase → breaks down fats 🥑
Lactase → breaks down lactose 🥛
Cellulase → helps break down plant fiber (your body doesn’t make this one) 🥦

Without enough enzymes food can sit in the gut partially digested which is where bloating & discomfort come from. 💨

Digestive enzymes can be helpful for people who..

* Feel bloated or gassy after meals
Especially after large or heavy meals.

* Struggle with certain foods
Dairy, high-protein meals, fatty foods, or lots of carbs.

* Have poor nutrient absorption
Even with a good diet, low enzyme levels can limit how much nutrition you actually absorb.

* Are over 30–35 years old
Natural enzyme production declines with age.

* Train hard or eat high-protein diets
More food = more digestive demand.

* Have sensitive digestion or slow digestion
Including people with IBS-type symptoms (non-medical support).

* Eat lots of processed or cooked foods
Cooking destroys natural food enzymes.

Adding in a digestive enzyme supplement won’t “replace” your digestion — they support it 🩷
