We’re hopping off for a little Easter break!
The practice will close at 5pm on Thursday 2nd April and we’ll be back bright‑eyed at 9.30am on Tuesday 7th April.

Jo, Nat & Viv are very ready for a long weekend filled with zero alarms, plenty of chocolate, and maybe even a nap or two.

👀 Glaucoma: the real “Sight Stealer”

Viv asked Jo this morning: “Can you actually go blind without knowing it?”
Jo’s answer? “Yep — that’s glaucoma for you.”

It’s sneaky, silent and often symptom‑free… which is why early detection is everything.

🔍 At JMI Opticians, we check for glaucoma with:

• OCT scan (£10): a 3D deep dive into the layers of your eye
• Pressure test (yes, the puff of air!)
• Visual field test: checks for blind spots
