After a great deal of thought, Maple Leaf Therapy has now closed to new clients as I step away from private clinical work.

Working with the people who came through this practice has been one of the most meaningful parts of my professional life. It has been a privilege to witness honesty, resilience, change, and hard work up close. Thank you to every client who allowed me to be part of their process, and to colleagues and supporters who trusted and recommended this practice over the years.

This is not a sudden decision but a considered transition into a new professional chapter. Maple Leaf Therapy will remain here online so that any future updates or projects can be shared in one place.

Try small, safe experiments: wait before checking your phone, drive a different way, speak up once, or go out without that “just-in-case” object.

Each time you prove anxiety wrong, your brain learns you’re safer than it thought.

Intrusive thoughts are normal. It’s how we respond that matters. Ignoring or suppressing them often backfires.
