🥧 Festive Mince Pies to Make with Clients! 🎄

Get into the holiday spirit by baking mince pies with your clients — a fun and delicious way to encourage creativity, connection, and festive cheer 💛

Simple Mince Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
- 350g ready-made shortcrust pastry
- 200g mincemeat
- 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)

Method:
- Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.
- Roll out pastry and cut into 12 circles to fit a muffin tin.
- Spoon mincemeat into each pastry case.
- Cut smaller pastry circles or stars for the tops and place on each pie.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20–25 mins until golden.
- Cool slightly and sprinkle with icing sugar if desired.

Making mince pies together is a perfect dementia-friendly activity — it encourages conversation, memories, and festive fun 🤝✨
