We’re taking a moment today to shine a heartfelt spotlight on two extraordinary people: Hamish and Anne. 🌟

Five years ago, Hamish came into our fold in deeply tragic circumstances. Instead of turning away, he, with the help of family and friends stepped forward - with compassion, courage, and a desire to make a difference.

Since then, Hamish and his wife Anne have embarked on two volunteer trips to Zambia, and we’re thrilled they are already planning a third trip next year. Their hands-on commitment, time and energy speak volumes.

But they didn’t stop there. Hamish and Anne have become loyal and generous supporters of our work in Zambia. They are sponsoring two students - each studying medicine - helping them pursue their dreams, serve their communities and become tomorrow’s healthcare heroes.

We are beyond thankful. Their generosity, their consistent support, their willingness to journey with us - it’s exactly what empowers our mission and changes lives.

Hamish and Anne, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your faith in our work, your belief in our students, your friendship - it means everything. 💙

After 40 years of good service to us we are grateful to NHS Lothian as they are replacing our front doors on Wednesday (and possibly into Thursday).

We are still open and if you are coming to the practice then the back door will be open as usual or if you come via the front entrance there will be an alternative route signposted.
