Try out the skin salves, Blue skin soother, Lemon balm lip balm, Lavender and Titree essential oils, Arnica oil, Tasty herb teas for calming and better sleep, calcium absorbsion, digestion and colds, coughs, gentle energy boosting or just tasting good.

Lots of herbal remedies to help boost tbe immune system and reduce serious symptoms during colds and flu. Your nose might still run a lot or you might sweat more but hopefully less likely to need antibiotics or help breathing.

Here's the latest batches of Tasty teas.
The local shop sales are suffering from not being able to indicate their uses.
Unless a medical licence is obtained for over £100,000 no claims can be made. No mention of diseases or conditions can be made.
It is a good idea to prevent claims of instant weight loss, long maintained erections, cancer, diabetes, heart diease cures and eternal life.
We can say herbs can help maintain healthy action of a body part, for instance the p***s. I havent put that on this label tho!
Rosemary, Ginko, Lemon peel, Damiana and Hawthorn flowers and berries. It's an energy booster, and brain stimulator and with Damiana it can have aphrodisiac effects and the ginko is reknowned for stimulating circulation to the extremities like feet, brain and private parts so can be useful.
Lime flowers and Lemon balm with Catnep, Wood betony and vervain helps maintain normal moods and sleep patterns. This batch is a very subtle flavour with the delicate locally collected Lime flower flavour shining through. It's flavour is of a summer breeze.
Scottish winter tea with Thyme, Plaintain, Liquorice and Hyssop is designed to support healthy function of the lungs. So no mention is allowed of the thing that happens when the lungs get infected or burdened by extra mucus.
So I wonder if you can work out what it is for?
This is why you need to visit a herbalist so they can make suggestions suitable for you. Or research yourself.
But do get help for problems that do not go away after 6 weeks.
So enjoy the flavours of nature meanwhile supporting your health.

Wreath making workshop was amazing. Watching people build up the layers.
Great materials too.
Hope I ve got everyone's wreaths represented!
The pine and cedar smells plus rosemary is uplifting.
Love to honour the green and bring evergreen leaves to our doors.

I am very pleased Penicuik Storehouse found Helpful herbs five shelves for the next 4 weeks.
Go up stairs, then 2nd alcove on the left next to the mannikin head and shoulders wearing lovely necklaces, there is Helpful herbs' products.
Towards the back of the shop are Scottish Summer flower tea, Scottish winter tea and beeswax on an on going basis. Thank you Penicuik Storehouse.
Enjoy the summer tea's fresh flavours or comfort your lungs with Scottish winter tea.
Also Arnica oil, Blue skin soother, Lemon Balm lip balm, the normal salves, Lavender and Ti tree essential oils. Tinctures of Echinacea purpurea, Myrhh, Elderberry and Propolis to help keep winter colds at bay. Devils Claw plus mix and Agnus castus mix to help with other common ailments and Valerian mixture for night time.
Finally some honey comb from Roslin bees.

Looking inside a bee hive
Do you want to see what it looks like in a top bar honey bee hive? Do you want to hear the loud, melodic hum of a busy hive? This is a workshop, you will be provided with a beesuit and gloves so that you can hold the bars with bees on and look right inside the colony. We will go over what to check for like queen cells. If there is extra honey we can gather some. You get to take some honeycomb home. See and taste the pollen and propolis also gathered by the bees. It is on Sunday 2nd november in Roslin. 2 – 3.30pm, weather permitting, £20. 1 place left. It must be 11° or over to open a bee hive. Message to book a place or for more information.
