Tomorrow marks a year since I started teaching yoga from my sitting room 🤸🧘♀️❤️
I can’t believe how fast it’s gone — and how incredible it’s been.
Yoga is so much more than touching your toes. It’s awareness. Mindset. Openness. Compassion. Less judgement (of yourself especially).
Your size, shape, age or flexibility doesn’t decide if you “can” do yoga — I’ve seen the most amazing shifts happen when people are simply encouraged.
And honestly… it seems to help almost everything 🤣 Better sleep, less snoring, easing sciatica, lower blood pressure, calmer stress levels, feeling stronger chasing grandchildren around. I hear it all.
We laugh a lot. I get things wrong. There’s chat and banter. That’s probably why people come back.
Yoga isn’t easy — and that’s kind of the point. I’ll never push you, but a little challenge is part of it. The hardest bit? Getting yourself there. Once you’re on the mat, you’re fine.
You don’t need a fancy studio. You can do yoga anywhere — I loved teaching outside in the Pentlands last year.
The goal? Leave feeling better than when you arrived. Always 🧘♀️🤸❤️
