A very big thank you to all who have supported me at Finding Balance this past year; my yogis & local businesses who invited me to their staff wellness days. Those clients who came for treatments at home, festivals & holistic fayre’s. Willing friends who were case studies to support my learning, those who joined my first shared retreat day for the summer solstice with Clare's C H A T, Teachers whom I have studied with throughout the year. Some of my very dear friends who are fellow therapists; for their belief, inspiration & encouragement along the way.

I wish you all a very peaceful festive period & look forward to a return in January 2026.. sharing dates of what’s to come 🙏✨🎄💛

Thank you to those that took time for themselves tonight. A lovely last class of gentle movement, sound & vibration & an introduction to Holy fire reiki, sharing the ‘ocean of holy love experience’ finishing with a herbal tea, shortbread & mince pies kindly gifted by Christine before home.
I also decided to treat myself to one of the studio’s beautiful wool yoga mats for my treatment room✨

Sharing my news of an amazing 3 days of experiences & learning led & guided by the wonderful Sheila Thomas Energies I was thrilled to share this experience with another beautiful friend & therapist Andy steele Alchemy who intends to teach reiki in the near future to other men.
I’m very happy to say im now a reiki master in Usui/ Holy fire.

I have been somewhat of a little squirrel this winter; gathering & adding to my healing & nurturing basket lots of learnings, experiences, & training which I intend to incorporate into my existing & new offerings in 2026 once I have allowed time for these learnings to embed 🙏✨

Relevant anytime, however maybe more so at this time of year. Whether it’s expectation’s other people have of us or those we place upon ourselves it’s so important to learn to take a step back, breathe & pause to avoid becoming overwhelmed.
Ask yourself is this really important, does it matter & if so to who? Allow yourself time to make the right choice for you, maybe prioritise, gift yourself smaller bite size steps that are more realistic & achievable.

One of my friends used to allocate themselves worry time; rather than allow something to consume them, they’d choose to set it aside & pick it back up at the end of the day… more than often by then it was no longer an issue or seemed more manageable…

I also heard recently if you make a list of things that are worrying you before bed, this enables you to ‘ shift’ these thoughts, which can support better sleep.

Stepping outside into nature, closing your eyes if you feel safe enough & breathing in & out through the nose. Tune into your senses to refocus your attention.

Think of one thing that brings you joy💛

Thank you to those who braved tonight's weather to join practice. Bringing awareness to our heart centre, picturing a beautiful glowing light in our favourite colour, this light of unconditional love filling the heart centre. Feeling into our own image of unconditional love, this awareness, feeling & radiant loving light can no longer be contained within our heart centre & begins to expand & flow throughout the whole body & beyond, creating a field of loving light all around. Bright, warm, comforting & safe. Holding this feeling to take forward into our week ahead💛
