My Community- Penrith 'My Community' is all about us, our community, working together & creating positive change. (We do not try to imitate anybody, only support what they are doing)

My Community is a Royal initiative brought to thanks to funding. We are employed by , our aim is to work with the community to find out what is good, what could be better and use co production to help make Penrith a better place for people with a learning disability and everyone to live. We work with other groups and occasionally you will see us promoting events from other groups that we have supported, either through co producing something new or by funding Launch events.

Today marked one year of having our community space opened by Dr Geoff Joliffe, we have been honored with his presence at a few of our events and at the end of his term he awarded us with High Sheriff of Cumbria award 2026.

One year on and more exciting news will be announced soon-huge thanks to everybody for supporting My Community on our journey. :D
