A reminder that even the smallest gestures can make a big difference. A smile, a compliment, holding the door open, buying someone coffee, kindness doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful.

But today is also a gentle nudge to look a little closer to home.

Sometimes we focus on being kind to strangers, and forget to intentionally show up for the people who already mean so much to us, our friends.
The strong ones. The quiet ones. The ones who always say “I’m fine.” The ones who are always there for everyone else.

Check in on your friends.
Send the “just thinking about you” text.
Ask how they’re really doing and give them space to answer honestly.

✨ National Apprenticeship Week ✨

This week we’re proud to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week and the amazing young people who are taking their first steps towards a rewarding career.

We’re incredibly proud to support and mentor our apprentices as they learn, grow, and gain hands on experience. We’re lucky to have five wonderful apprentice nurses - Alex, Amber, Amelia, Megan and Hannah - who are all doing an amazing job and are a real credit to the team.

We’ve also got the lovely Jade, who works on our front-of-house reception and has recently started her Business Administration apprenticeship. She’s already settling in brilliantly and we’re excited to support her on her journey.

Apprenticeships play such an important role in building confident, skilled professionals, and we’re proud to be part of that journey 💙

Last week our lovely dental nurse Rebecca visited local nurseries and schools to share her knowledge of oral health with the children 🦷✨
She had a great time talking about healthy teeth, brushing routines, and how to look after those smiles from a young age.

A big thank you to Rebecca for taking the time to go, and thank you to Beaconside School, Milburn School, and Penrith Pre School for welcoming her and letting her talk to the children. We loved being involved and spreading the message of happy, healthy smiles! 😁💙
