ELLERTON: Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Saturday, 8th November, Geoffrey (Geoff) of Penrith, much loved husband of Ros, dearly loved dad of Mark, Neil, Adrian and James, loving grandad of Bethan, Maxine, William and Elizabeth and a dear brother who will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and colleagues. Aged 82 years. Service at St. Andrew's Church, Penrith on Friday 28th November at 12.00 noon followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. With permission from his family, it is with great sadness we announce that Geoff died peacfully, this morning, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, surrounded by his loving family. Geoff was a well respected member of our team, a true gentleman who will be sadly missed. Funeral details to follow.

Richardson’s Funeral Directors are an independent family owned local business who have been carefully arranging funerals in Penrith and Cumbria for over 100 years and have records dating back to January 1895. Whilst we have a lot of history we feel we have the right balance on modern approaches blended with traditional values.
