GROVER: Suddenly, at home on Thursday, 11th December, Anthony (Tony) of Shap, beloved brother of Richard, Stephen and Simon, brother-in-law of Mary, Lynn and Jackie, uncle of Daniel, Jordan and Ben. Affectionally known as “Tony coke.” Aged 67 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday, 6th January at 11.00 am. GOULDING: After an illness bravely borne, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Saturday, 13th December, Edith of Huntley Court, Penrith (formerly of Clifton D***s) beloved wife of the late Maurice, loving mam and mother-in-law of Pat, David, Linda and Andrew, wonderful gran of Tracy, Nicola and Ben, big gran of Kane, Josie, Joel, Harris, Neve and Ally. Aged 93 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 2nd January at 11.00 am. TOBIAS: Peacefully, after a short illness, at Cold Springs Park Care Home, Penrith, on Wednesday, 10th December, Anne of Hackthorpe Penrith, much loved mum of Sara, Julie and the late Gareth, loving granny of Bethany, George, Rebecca and Toby, great-granny of Jake and mother-in-law of Dave, Colin and Deana. Aged 86 years. Service at Christ Church, Penrith on Monday, 5th January at 11.00 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Family flowers only. With permission from his family, it is with great sadness we announce that Geoff died peacfully, this morning, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, surrounded by his loving family. Geoff was a well respected member of our team, a true gentleman who will be sadly missed. Funeral details to follow.
