Words from Scott's loving family:
James Scott Walker, known to all as Scott, passed away peacefully on Saturday 28 February, aged 82 years.
Born on 5th December 1943 in Omagh, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Scott made his home in Preston, Lancashire. He was born and raised on a farm and this stayed his lifelong passion as a Dairy Farmer in the Inglewhite area. He was never happier than when out on the farm. He had an incredible work ethic as farming was more than a job to him, it was his way of life.
Those that had the good fortune to know him well, will remember his cheeky humour, kindness and 'true gentlemen' personality.
Scott was a devoted husband to Elizabeth, and a much loved Father to Helen and Louise and stepfather to Amanda. He was also a cherished Grandfather to Tom, Matty, Henry and Millie who brought him immense joy. He will be deeply missed.
A funeral service to celebrate Scott's life will be held at West Lancashire Cemetery and Crematorium (Burscough) on Friday 20th March at 1:00pm. All who knew him are welcome to attend. Family flowers only please.
