What better way to cheer up a gloomy November than a bright, colourful, fun window display showing our new Mr Men and Little Miss children's frames from Continental Eyewear
Children's eye tests are funded by the NHS (you don't pay for them) and if they need glasses they are entitled to a voucher towards the cost of them. We also accept outside and hospital prescriptions/vouchers.
The Christmas window is coming ... It's not allowed to go in before Andy's birthday 😉

We can think of no better day than today, World Sight Day, to announce that we are the first practice in Worcestershire to have an Eye-light machine which treats dry macula degeneration! Whilst this isn't a cure, it has been proven to slow the progression of the disease and is a huge development in the management of dry macula degeneration and we are so excited to be able to offer it to our patients.

We would like to introduce our new Optometrist Rav.
Originally from Birmingham she now lives locally just outside of Evesham. Rav qualified as an Optometrist in 2002. She enjoys running, and loves being mum to a teenager!
Rav is going to be working with us one day a week initially - but hopefully more in the future!

We often get asked about our window displays and who makes them... We do!
Usually Harriet comes up with a mad idea and then tasks Andy to make things and over the years he's done well building Christmas trees, Human sized valentine's love hearts with a gold arrow, Rapunzel's tower and a pair of giant eyeballs to name but a few.
With Pershore Plum Festival coming up we are taking on the window display challenge... Keep your eyes peeled for our entry!

Has your child had an eye test?
Without an eye test you cannot tell if they have any visual issues ... Lazy eyes don't always turn!

All children are entitled to an NHS funded sight test and we can test from as young as 2 (sometimes younger!)

We're now booking into August for sight tests, so please book in soon if you're hoping to have an eye test over the summer holidays!

OCT (optical Coherence Tomography) is a non-invasive imaging technique which captures 4D images of the back of the eye allowing for early detection and monitoring of many eye conditions including glaucoma, macula degeneration and diabetic eye disease.
It's a quick, painless, procedure that takes a few minutes and allows us, at to offer the very best in eye care.
