Beautiful morning of moving, grooving and having a boogie at Arthur Moore Centre,
Acock’s Green.

Then after a wonderful wakeup and warmup we tasted so many wonderful sweets which took everyone back to their childhood. Stories of yesteryear were told, stories of mischief, curiosity and of rationing being lifted on sweets after the war, including new sweets introduced.

My word, what a month September has been…

We have:

Launched our new Brummie Mummie sessions thanks to funding from Grantham Yorke Trust.

Prepped our fantastic new collaboration with BPCN for a 3 yr project Mamma Mindful Moments launching in October, thanks to funding from Fairer Futures.

Rounded up and completed all our Summer Evaluations, data and analysis from our Summer Programmes.

Relaunched our new term of Wychavon weekly and monthly community classes

Planned and prepped our first sessions of ‘Heritage of Play’ to be held at Acocks Green Library and Arthur Moor Hall in conjunction with BPCN and Stockfield Community Association.

Phew….. it’s been an exciting few weeks and we are even more excited about what the coming few months will have in store too!

Huge thank you as always to all of the wonderful facilitators, artists, playworkers and collaborating organisations we are working with.

📣Calling all Brummie Mummies in the Northfield/Frankley area?
👶We have 2 fabulous Mum and baby/toddler classes just for you and your little ones.

We meet on Mondays at the Hollymoor centre, 8 Manor Park Grove on Mondays for the following dates:

15th Sept
29th Sept
13th Oct
10th Nov
24th Nov
8th Dec

CLASS 1: Mommy and Me Class
2months - 9 months

9:45- 10:30 class
10:30- 11:00 Refreshments

✅Learn Baby massage/yoga techniques
✅Have time to breathe and stretch for yourself
✅Movement and song for all

CLASS 2: Discover Dance
18 months - 3 yr olds

10:30- 11:00 Refreshments
11:00- 11:45 class

✅Song and Movement Class
✅Building skills to help independent learning
✅Learning skills to develop physical movement ready for school
✅Creative Tasks for children and Parent/Caregiver

Mini movers 18months- 3 year olds
09:40-10:20am - must be accompanied by parent/carer

Mini Groovers 3-5year olds
(Pre-school - Reception) 10:30-11:10am
(Only a few spaces left)
