Peter Smith Opticians (est. 1975) is a family run independent practice in the heart of Pershore. We strive to provide the best in professional eye care for you and your family, offering eye examinations, spectacles, contact lenses and sunglasses. Using the latest technology, our tests can include 3D retinal scanning as well as assessments in dry eye, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and visual stress. Meet Laura, one of our Optometrists.

Laura has been part of the Peter Smith Opticians team for 8 years and has over 20 years’ experience in optics. She’s known for her friendly manner and the care she takes to make every eye examination relaxed and thorough.

When she’s not in practice, Laura loves keeping active — whether that’s squeezing in a lunchtime swim or spending time with her two young boys 😃

As 2025 comes to an end, we’re reflecting on what an amazing year it’s been for Peter Smith Opticians. From moving into our new premises and welcoming new brands and patients, to introducing new technology and spending great times together as a team, it’s been a year to remember. We were delighted to welcome Kacper to the team and are incredibly proud of Shannon for qualifying as a Dispensing Optician. A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for their hard work and to our loyal patients for your continued support — we couldn’t do it without you! 💙
