Looking for a warm, safe place to have a friendly chat to start the year? We’d love for you to join us for our first 'Community Dementia Cafe' of the New Year!

"The magic of Christmas Eve has officially taken over our home!

Our day began in the heart of the house, the kitchen, with the cooling, sweet scent of peppermint filling every corner. We kicked off our holiday marathon with Kate and the residents hand-crafting a batch of Christmas mint cremes, and there’s just something so special about starting the festivities with sugar-dusted counters and a little bit of homemade tradition. It’s been a whirlwind of a day, but we wouldn't have it any other way."

Guess who stopped by today? The man of the hour! 🎅 We had an incredible afternoon hosting Father Christmas as he took a break from his busy North Pole schedule to visit our wonderful residents.

From the iconic "Ho, Ho, Ho!" to the twinkle in his eye, the "Big Man" in red brought so much magic to our home. There’s truly nothing quite like seeing the pure joy on everyone’s faces when Santa Claus comes to town!

We were so thrilled to welcome 'Wes' back to the stage this holiday season, and he brought along a truly wonderful surprise, the incredibly talented Hannah! Together, they delivered a performance that was nothing short of magical.

The highlights were endless, but the room went completely still for their breathtaking acapella duet of "Silent Night." It was a "pin-drop" moment that captured the true essence of the season.
They also treated us to a spirited rendition of "The 12 Days of Christmas" and a high-energy cover of Shakin' Stevens’ "Merry Christmas Everyone." By the time they started "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree," festive spirits were through the roof!

A massive thank you to Wes and Hannah for making our Christmas Eve Eve so unforgettable. You both brought so much joy and harmony to our celebrations! 🎄✨

Monday afternoon just got a whole lot brighter! We were absolutely delighted to welcome back the incredibly talented Martin Leonard Entertainer for a musical session that truly hit all the right notes.

The lounge was filled with joy as Martin performed a wonderful mix of the timeless classics our residents know and love, alongside some heartwarming festive treats to get us all in the holiday spirit. It was a beautiful, dementia-friendly afternoon of singing, reminiscing, and smiles.

A huge thank you to Martin for bringing so much energy and warmth to our home. We wish everyone a very merry and wonderful Christmas! 🎄✨

As we approach the end of a wonderful 2025, we wanted to take a moment to send a huge Christmas thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. Your kindness and dedication have been instrumental in making our residents feel truly at home and ensuring their wellbeing remained our top priority, every single day.

To kick off more of the final festive countdown, the fabulous Ray was back in the house on Friday! He brought an incredible energy with him, spreading Christmas cheer far and wide. It was a joy to see so many smiling faces as he performed a beautiful set of classic Christmas favourites that had everyone singing along. Thank you, Ray, for making the afternoon so special, and thank you to our community for a brilliant year!
