A moment worth celebrating, UK Parliament debate hoarding support for the very first time! 🙌🏼🗣️🩷

I’m absolutely thrilled that on 22nd October 2025, Paulette Hamilton MP spoke in Parliament about the urgent need for national guidelines on hoarding, something I first asked for back in March this year, and have been quietly working towards since 2009, when I founded Clouds End as the UK’s first social enterprise supporting people who hoard.

From those early days sitting on the floor with people in rooms full of meaning and memory, to now hearing the issue recognised at a national level, it’s overwhelming to see how far we’ve come.

For years, we’ve seen the gaps in support that have led to individuals facing forced clearances, eviction letters, and unnecessary harm. To finally witness understanding, compassion, and government action, there are not enough words to express how that feels.

To all the other incredible organisations in the industry working hard to support, advocate and educate, and those living with hoarding disorder who bravely share their stories to raise awareness to the realities of the condition, this moment in history belongs to you too🩷

Myself and the rest of the team at Clouds End CIC cannot wait to see what comes from this as we continue on our mission to give HOPE, Help Opportunity Positivity Encouragement, to all facing hoarding challenges and all who support them🩷

Heather Matuozzo, Founder of Clouds End CIC.
