From 15th January, Louise Anderson (MSci, MSc, BSc, BA, BSc Hons) will be joining our clinic as a Consultant Pain Psychologist, HCPC-Registered Occupational Therapist and Specialist in Clinical Oncology. She brings a calm, reliable and evidence-based approach to supporting people living with chronic pain, anxiety, depression and long-term conditions.
Louise began her career in Clinical Oncology at Oxford University Hospitals Trust, where she specialised in treating people with cancer and integrated psychological support alongside radiotherapy. This foundation shaped her whole-person, mind–body approach to pain.
Her background includes extensive study in neuroscience, psychology, radiotherapy, counselling and occupational therapy across leading universities such as the University of St Andrews, University of Edinburgh and University of Worcester, with her MSci in Radiotherapy & Oncology awarded with Distinction. This gives Louise a rare blend of scientific, psychological and practical rehabilitation expertise.
She has also worked within NHS Post-COVID and Chronic Fatigue services, supporting individuals with post-viral fatigue, dysregulation and persistent symptom patterns.
Now working full-time in private practice, Louise is delighted to be offering in-person appointments here at Silver Fern, supporting our community with a steady, compassionate and person-centred approach.
Appointments available from 15th January.
