A Big Well Done to everyone that attended this morning in Perth.

It started bitterly cauld, with an unforgiving wind.
However, we did finish in some Sunshine.

It was brilliant to have our friend, Jonathan Kemp onboard this morning too.
Jonathon is on a mammoth challenge, walking the length and breadth of the U.K, raising funds and awareness for Mental Health.

This is indeed, unprecedented, always wanted to use that word☺️

However, We think it would be the right decision, to cancel tomorrow morning’s ‘Bag O Chips’ Group Walk & Talk.

The weather still promises to be bad and the Flood Gates are closed.
So, we volunteers think this is the right decision.

Bag O Chips Group Walk & Talk for Wednesday 27th January is CANCELLED.

‘Bag O Chips’ Group Walk & Talk

Just a gentle Sunday reminder, that the ‘Bag O Chips’ Group Walk & Talk will celebrate our 5th Anniversary on Wednesday, January 14th.

Five Years !!!!!
Where does the time go ??

We initially set up this initiative just before COVID times, the purpose was to ‘combat’ loneliness, boredom and depression.

Hundreds of folks have joined our traditional, Wednesday Walk over the past half a decade.
Some have been struggling and some have simply joined in for the exercise, fresh air and good banter❤️👌

To mark our 5th Birthday on Wednesday, we have some fantastic donations from this Year’s Sponsors, to warm your cockles and bellies before the Walk kicks off.

Big Well Done to the Gents this morning, on the ‘Bag O Chips’ Group Walk & Talk.
A Cold and Icy start. Slippery underfoot too.

Next Week’s walk, Wednesday 14th January, will mark our fifth anniversary, with the ‘Bag O Chips’ Group Walk & Talk.

Hard to believe a simple ‘volunteer run’ initiative, setup to combat boredom, loneliness and depression, during COVID times.
Has survived half a decade, with undoubtedly, proudly supporting hundreds of folks and their mental health in Perthshire, throughout the Years.

Well Done to the many of you, that got up off that sofa and oot the Hoose to join us, over past five years!

As with all our previous anniversary walks, I shall be on the ‘mooch’ again, fro my friends in the local catering trade, for a donation of some tasty goodies, for next week’s walkers.

I’d like to provide for next week’s attendees, some sandwiches, maybe hot soup or coffee.

So, if you’re up for sponsoring some of the above.

A Special mention for young, Adam.
By our calculations, Adam has only missed one or maybe two ‘Walks’ this Year.

At the end of the Walk, Brian gifted me a new hoodie.
I love a hoodie 🥰 especially this one, it carried the theme ‘you are enough’.
