🚑 Attention All DDYFA / Perth Clubs 🚑
As most of you will be aware, the model for small-sided games — particularly 7-a-side — is changing this year. With the removal of the Messi/Ronaldo format, teams will now be split, meaning the number of coaches per age group will effectively double.
Previously, one trained first aider per age group was sufficient. Under the new structure, each team must now have a minimum of one trained first aid person, meaning at least two per age group. Many teams already have two or three coaches to ensure cover at all training sessions and match days due to work commitments.
➡️ To support clubs with these changes, we are pleased to announce that four First Aid courses have now been scheduled, running one course per night starting Monday 2nd February.
📅 Available course dates:
Monday 2nd February
Tuesday 3rd February
Wednesday 4th February
Thursday 5th February
You only need to attend one session to meet the requirement.
⚠️ Important information:
Each course is limited to 10 coaches
Demand is expected to exceed 50+ coaches
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate everyone on this occasion, but additional courses will be considered later in the year
✅ Booking is required to ensure your team remains COMET compliant.
